I used to think when mir was up for some play time she'd flick her tail but she does it ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time & not alll the time she wants to play....what does it mean? Cos Im lost here? :-:
-
Depends what you mean when you say flick
A wagging tail is angry, but gently wagging Ok. Just a flick i dont think has a meaning.

Could this be fleas?

One of my new cats Geoffrey has a gentle tail movement practically all of the time, it doesn't seem to indicate annoyance/playfulness/anything in particular, it is just constantly on the move. It definitely forms into a distinctive wag if he's miffed about something so with him I think it's just one of those little idiosyncracies.
-
Alice does it all the time. If you speak to her, it waves even more - even if she is purring. I told the vet a while back and he emptied her glands but she still does it.
-
Meg does that, and she does it when i say her name as tho to say 'i'm not listening!'
