I've not had da bird a week yet but Bubz's already a vandal! The 'bird' is decidedly mauled and "cat"-eared. :)
Typically how long do 'birds' last?
Helen - wishing she'd bought some replacements when buying the 'mouse'

My lot dont get to chew da bird so its in good shape still. They get a treat for trying to catch it instead.
I use it in the garden and they really go nuts, have to take the washing line down tho :evillaugh:

Well, with my slightly impaired mobility, Bubz has worked out that she can catch it and play with it before I can stop her! She looks so cute stalking it tho.

The odd time taz has caught hold of it i had great difficulty breaking his hold, amazing how strong their jaws are :scared:

Dont I know it!! LOL
Not sure if I'm tempting fate, but when I am using the full length of the stick and Bubz pulls it apart (something she does regularly) she stops playing until my PA puts the two together again. Its something she does off her own bat, not something I'm asking her to do. Mind you when I'm using the half length my lap gets playfully mauled by her, but it is wonderful fun all the same, especially when she creases her brows trying to work out the thing has got to. ;D

I must be lucky cos Sasa doesnt break it but maybe its me who is careful so when she has it I dont pull it away until I know it will come loose.
Have had it out in the garden too in nice weather, so if weather holds will have it out tomorrow ;D
So pleased that Bubz likes it Helen, it seems to be universally loved by most cats.
I dont know what their life expectancy is but had mine since they came out last year, its great to watch Sasa flying through the air to catch it on the wing..................shudders at thought of what she does to the real ones!

Charlie is obsessed with his Da Bird, it is mauled to bits. I let him catch it every now and then. I hid it on top of the coat hooks in the hall the other day and low and behold where did I find Charlie? Hanging on for dear life to the burglar alarm box. I have hidden it on a shelf and he has almost brought the lot down so now it is in a cupboard and he is already stalking that. Long live Da Bird.
