Aw they are all beautiful! :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
Is mum an aby?
-
Smidgen, I see has managed to get well settled under his siblings for a good feed - how typical :Luv: and his poor mother!!! what a bundle of mischief! When I went to collect him he was the only one left, so did not see the bundle of energy that poor Amanda and Ingwe had to put up with!! Maccat, you will not have seen these, but others are probably getting sick of the sight of them. But here are Smidgen on day of arrival (with Shadow) and Smidgen these days with Shadow ...

Hope you get things sorted with Tallulah, don't think Shadow could cope with another member of the family in the house

Ahhh what a cute little family .... Mum is stunning ... is she an aby?
-
SHe is, yes. The father is a large white barn cat. Mum is now neutered as she was a silent breeder - showed no signs of being in heat until she met her man!!! Hence the mistakes.

Wonderful pictures :Luv: :Luv:

   Cunning "foreigns" you see .... intelligent and sneaky! Typical little posh girl ... fancied a bit of rough!

love the pics blackcat..
when we were there for the weekend when the kittens were born dad was prowling outside but was seen off by 'minnie' who was mums first child (of course all grown up).
yep mum liked a bit of ruff.. shame as the pure abbys are just so sleek. the good news is that this litter has more abby than moggie and i think they have all the abby traits. they are too playful and love heights..

Aww :Luv: Great pics!

Silent heats are quite common with Somalis so I assume they are with Abys too.

Minnie also saw Shadow off when we arrived. Poor Shadow was cowering in the corner of the conservatory being menaced by a large Abby and hoping i would rescue him. Haven't laughed so much in a while!! Lucky you to see them born. As you say, there is no room for doubt about the aby influence. Smidgen is superconfident and up for anything basically - he worried me at first, cos I thought he would get into strife and take on something bigger than him (like the fox over the back fence) but he seems to have plenty of street-sense also, so am less worried by his antics now. If you do a search by Smidgen you will find various video clips around the site ...

see if you can spot smidgen

I'm impressed with the complete lack of compunction he showed at trampling his siblings into the earth so that he can get a feed from his mum! Chaos clearly reigned at Amanda's for quite a few weeks then

Amazing that Smidgen has found his sister
-
He's a very smart kitty!! I always said so!!! ;D
-
Ahhh what gorgeous little kittens ... it's great that they all have Aby tails and faces ... they are so pretty :Luv2: :Luv2:

Awww, cute photos! Bertie's (real) mum belongs to a friend of mine, and the other day she found a camera film she hadn't developed and it was full of pics of Bertie as a 2-week-old kitten that I hadn't seen before :Luv2:
-
How lovely that Smidgen found his sister, what a lovely story!! :)
The photos and video are so adorable, any chance of a reunion of siblings?? ;D ;)

we are at opposite ends of the country and I don't own a car (I rented one to go and get him). So I doubt it, any time soon. Of course if Tallulah's problems are not resolved, I would feel obliged to offer her a home :evillaugh:
-
blackcat i think you are close, we drove up to cheshire. the cats are based in east sussex
-
and I am in Kent!!! :Luv: how wonderful! Smidgen will be pleased when I tell him - he has taken himself upstairs at present ...
-
i told my sister she couldnt believe it... they are adorable cats. i wish we could have taken the whole litter with us to France - i guess i get the next best thing of visiting them at my sisters house.

Amanda did such a good job with them, they are such confident little rascals and sooooo easygoing. Smidgen just leaps up and 'flops' onto me, assuming he will be welcome come what may. And the poor tiny dog next door is terrified of him, simply because Smidgen just lies in a relaxed heap in the dog's yard. The yard was vacant all the time he has lived here so he sees no reason to change his habits, just cos there is a dog there now - the dog has no idea what to do so yelps for its owners to rescue it .

blackcat if he likes tassels thats my fault, they chewed through 2 of my sweatshirts with the tassels hanging down.
talloulah is the rascal and tilly just takes everything in her stride.
i love it cats in charge...

awww them kittens look so cute, and how do you get them to pose like that for the camera? :briggin:

confidence is not lacking in the whole family by the sounds of it. Like i said, Smidgen's older half-brother tackled Shadow and reduced him to a whimpering, apologetic heap (not that it takes much but he is a big dog for a cat to take on)
