Title: Talking of zooplus..has anyone tried "trockenfisch" ?
Post by: CurlyCatz on February 06, 2008, 18:59:30 PM
I got my zooplus order today (thank goodness) and i had ordered a few treats for dogs  & cats, it was the "gimpet dried fish" i had ordered but it was a bag of trockenfisch (same thing i think) just dried little anchovie type things but his lord ship isnt quite sure what to make of them, likes to lick em and has eaten them if i crumble them up but thats about it.  Havent tried big boys yet but reckon they'll be more appreciative.

My friend was playing with those the other week .. it involved water, latex gloves resulting in "fish fingers" I'll leave it to people's imaginations. I was kind of tempted in feeding Memph one. They seem more fish like if you soak them, but they do tend to lose their heads  :shify:

Never tried them myself (well, not me literally!).  Might order some next time.  It will be interesting to see if Jaffa will eat them as he eats anything.

Bought some of those the other week when I went to pick up Toby's arthritis supplements.

They went down like a lead balloon here.  :tired:

Gave them away to a friend who also had cats and same problem...
