Title: Guard cat Archie
Post by: alisonandarchie on February 05, 2008, 13:03:15 PM
Archie is very timid when it comes to noises outside. However he seems to behave more like a dog inside :-:

When evr he sees someone like the postman going past the window he rushes to the front door. Its the same when we get a knock at the door he rushes there to see whats going on.

This behaviour extends to the telephone and often when it rings he will jumpup besides it.

Not sure if this is usual behaviour as my previous cats have not done it :-:

Willow is fearless like that - she is frightened of missing something. I wish Clapton was like it as I just had some furniture delivered and he is hiding behind the sofa even though they left 1/2 hour ago

Max is a complete hooligan, if the front door goes he bounds downstairs (lounge is on 1st floor!) miawing his head off  :evillaugh:

We've called it the Maxy welcoming committee as its so loud you can hear him from the end of the driveway and beyond

Smidgen leaps to the back of the sofa and peers intently through the bay window as soon as he hears the gate go - he must really put the delivery boys right off! :Luv:
