Katra went to the vets to be checked for a chip, and we found out that Katra is actually a little boy, so the name no longer suits!! Any suggestions welcome.

I like Ted for a boy cat, or if you want to stick with the K theme how about Kie, or a more retro name Kevin.
-
Have a look at this site ... loads of nice names (and their meanings) http://www.petnamesworld.com/names_for-male_cats_3.html
-
Kevin is my OH name :evillaugh: I do love Kai, or how about Marley (was going to name Loki this)
-
Sticking with the K's - how about Kato? (as in Inspector Clouseau's little guy who kept leaping out at him unexpectedly in Pink Panther) ;D
-
I like Marley too - our neighbour's cat is called Marley and he's really sweet! Or if you want a name a bit like Katra, what about Katushka (I looked it up in my old Russian dictionary and it means 'bobbin').
-
Well, he didn't really take to Katra fortunately. I am so poor at thinking of names though, which is why i thought you lot could do it for me!!
-
Are you swayed by any of the suggestions so far Desley?
Kevin is my OH name :evillaugh:
And a very good name it is too! I'd love it if he were called Kai though (pronounced Kye), it's my friends sons' name and she'd go mental if she knew there was a cat called Kie! She's a dog person and doesn't really like cats (she's not a close friend you understand!!) but that doesn't stop me going on at her with Tiggy stories and asking whether her house smells of dog now as she got a puppy a few months ago
-
your welcome to choose any of my male cats names lol
Thomas, Milo ,gizmo ,Loui
My girls are Bella, Daisy, Tabitha Sophie , Elle so too femalish
katra is actually the Image of my gizmo booooootifuuuuuuuuuuulllllllll
good luck choosing
What about Charm as in lucky charm having you for a mummy
xxxxxx

hes lovely Des, I like Finn and Theo for names , when I chuck the OH out and become catlady with many cats, I will have furbabes with those names
-
how about Ernesto.
-
What about Koshka? It means "cat" in Russian!
-
What about Tabs cos he's kinda tabby n white, lovely boy. :wow:

Hmmmm that could really get confusing to me lol We already have a Tabitha cat on here which is my real name but as I usually get called Tabs or Tab
How about Jiff as he likes sinks?? although I did have a friend who's cat was called Plug but never found out why ;D
love
Tab
-
Aha - here we go Des - told you names were my speciality
Ok, how about Colin? Or Donald - Don for short? Gary is always a good name for a cat - or Chas seeing as our last kitten we named Chas turned out to be a girl!
I love the basic names for cats - we have Archie at the mo - could've been better - kicking myself that we didn't call him Gary! But I have Dave the kitten coming to live with us in the new year so I'm a happy bunny ! :wow:
-
Have you decided yet?
I think he suits - Billy, Duke or Jason
Let us know what you decide.
-
He hasn't answered to anything I have tried yet!! Will make a note of the new ones and see if he likes any of them!! I like Kai, but he didn't answer to that!!
-
I'm feeling sort of Scandinavian  - how about Ari?
This was prompted by laughing at Blip's antics with my lip balm earlier today - I called her a noggin. In fact, how about Noggin? Or Puffin?
-
He looks like a Norman, or a Noodle, to me!
-
Or Noodles? That's a good name too...
-
I dont think he will answer to anything for a while but pick a name and stick to it, he will get the idea
Koshka is the russian versian of Kocka which is czech for cat, pronounced Koch-ka and is the name of my grey cat on thebridge.
How about ummmmmmmmmmmmm................Kizzy ;D
-
Hi Desley!....What a surprise for you!....What about Kiko? Don,t know why it just came to mind (pronounced Kee-ko).......... :Luv: j x
-
What about Leo? He looks so like my Sam and I nearly called him that.
-
Well, he has been called Kai since last night, but will try the new suggestions in case he will respond to anything - I had to decide on something, he can't be put on the rehoming page till we have a name!! He resonds to Ch Ch though, but cant call him that!!
-
What about Chi or Che then? Chi is good karma so having him around could bring your house some harmony (not that there isn't any - you know what I mean!) That way 'ch ch' is just a shortened version!
-
Just tried that on him, didn't get much more response than anything else we have tried!!
-
Thats a good idea Kelly. There used to be a giant panda called Chi Chi who was in the nes a lot years ago because they couldn't get him to mate with his partner An An
-
my kids have been giving me there ideas Desley, James said Shay, after NUFC goalkeeper, Joshua said Sully after the monster in monsters inc and Jake says he thinks your furbabe looks like a Bob lol
-
So glad he is being called Kie, even if it's only temporary! Hopefully he will hear it over and over and will start to respond, mind you Tiggy has had her name for over 18 years and still doesn't respond unless it suits her
-
What about Bruno? He looks like the cat off an old Whiskers advert, the 1 where the bloke feeds him something other than Whiskers and the cat just goes back out again, that cat was called Bruno.
