I'm sorry the vet didn't feel your life would be a good one, even if you had an operation to sort out your health issues. I hope you're happy where you are.

Shadrach was one of my two lizards CC, yes. Her eye infection was worse than Meshachs and although the vet said he'd be able to operate on the ulcers that had occured as a result of the infection he felt her quality of life would not be very good (leopard geckos are sight feeders and the eye infection had damaged her eyes too badly to save them) and the kindest thing in his opinion was to let her go.

He seemed to know what he was talking about, so I believed his opinion to be correct and let her go. :(

Meshach is responding well to the treatments the vet gave me and I need to pick up some Tiacil ASAP from my vets to back up what I'm currently using.

As mentioned in my request thread, these two have been with me and my partner for nine years and weren't hatchlings when we got them, so although I'm sad we lost her I've realised it was quite possibly just her time. I would rather she'd been able to go in her sleep or something, though instead of having to suffer discomfort - but then noone wants a loved one to suffer in any way, do they?!
