I was just wondering if we had any Rex's on this site? I we have Cody (LaPerm) who is a very close relative but I can't recall any Rex's.
Would love to see pics if there are any memebers with one. I love the look of the "Gremlins" and know they are very people orientated. My hairdresser has two Devon's and they are always getting into mischief and are so cheeky :Luv2:
-
So I guess that's a NO then!
-
I can't think of anyone with one, tbh.
The nearest I can get is that Mosi's breeder has a black smoke devon rex called Wallace ;D He is adorable and very naughty, but I don't have any pictures :(
-
no but the woman I work with wants one!
-
:'( We need a Purrs Rex ... there was the little old lady "Bob" that Angie (CovCats) rehomed if if I remember rightly but I think she may now be at the bridge (apologies if I got that wrong).
-
I've always wanted one :Luv2: :Luv2: I cat sat a gorgeous black one once and it's coat was so warm and just had this lovely feel to it that's hard to describe. Where I do voluntary work we've had practically every breed in, but never a Cornish or Devon....Perhaps it's just as well :evillaugh:
-
But But But Cody IS a rex :'(
:evillaugh:
i know what you mean though but cant think of anyone with a devon or cornish on here.
-
I know who deserves to have a couple the most
ME
-
:'( We need a Purrs Rex
If someone will buy me a bigger house, I'd be happy to be the one to fulfill that obligation ;D

I know the Codester is a Rex and we all love our favourite curly coated cuddle bum so until we get a Devon / Cornish it looks like he is going to have to be the sole representative of his "clan" :Luv2: :Luv2:

Ainsley and Jenson have volunteered to smile down on Purrs from the Bridge.

:Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: Ahhhhh thanks T. Ainsley and Jenson look like they were definite little characters :Luv2:

Sam
They were the most amazing little monkeys or perhaps little clowns disguised as cats, so much fun, so much character, so much love; in fact the most purr fect of cats; I agree we need Devon rex on purrs so I can catnap them.
-
You might find a few devon pics on this site sam http://www.cloudborn.co.uk/ quite a few permie breeders started off as / are also devon/cornish breeders too :)
-
Heres one with a cornish champion
http://www.ursus.clara.net/show.html
PS I stroked all of those cats pictured coz that was the show i visited :Luv: (well ok not the tortie devon but all the others, the selkirk was the biggest cuddle bum ever and the cornish lad was quite big and very impressive, that was the one and only sphynx i met too :Luv:

Sam
My brother has 2 cornish rexes and so I will post some pics of the gorgeous pair when I am home later as I have loads of pics of them on my PC. They are not quite Purrs cats, but they are related to me - my nephews!!!
Will post some up later!
Claire xxx
-
Excellent Claire ... as they are close relatives that's good enough for us. Your "nephews" will be the official Cornish boys
Can't wait to see them :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
Sorry it took me a while Sam - I didn't get onto the PC the other night!
Here are the two lovely rexes as promised - Coo (Coomari - chocolate) and Wiffy (can't remember his pedigree name!) the white boy with the diff coloured eyes.
Enjoy!

Claire is am COMING TO STEAL WIFFY....HE IS GORGEOUS. I would LOVE an odd eye cat..really really really :Luv:
Coo is lovely too, i am pretty sure their must be oriental/siamese in his pedigree somewhere (permitted outcross i believe)
-
He is such a cheeky boy - i think he would get on well with Cody!!! i can't imagine what damage the pair could do!!
Not sure about the oriental/siamese bit, I did see their certificates when they were kittens, but didn't really look in too much detail!! I will ask my brothers girlfriend.
Although I have to admit to prefering a good old moggy with "standard" fur....these guys are gorgeous and have brilliant personalities!
-
Well unfortunately cody would prob hate him lol, he doesnt do sharing attention very well :evillaugh: which is why he will prob be an only rex child ;)
got the details on outcrosses just for interest.
(very similar to the laperm outcrosses although somali features in their lines too)

OMG they are wonderful ... thanks for posting them up Claire. :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
Lynn, the "white witch" that live across the road from me has the most gorgeous odd-eyed tabby boy! He is stunning and sooo loving.
-
wow is he all tabby sam ? i've mostly only really seen odd eyes with a majority of white coats sometimes with abit of something else splashed on but the bulk of coat white coloured. I find them utterly enchanting :Luv:
-
He's a tabby back with white throat, belly and socks .... he's beautiful and when he's annoyed is blue flashes red (like a ruby). Of course the witch believes he's got special powers
-
This is one of my fave odd eye girls, she's not long had her second litter but no odd eyes.

-
Wow - her tail is SO curly!!! What a lovely lady!
-
Yeah claire she is a long hair laperm but was still a kitten in that pic :)
I know i'm biased but i do love my curly/wavy coated felines :Luv2:
-
Awww I am jealous I simply adore :Luv2: Cornish and Devon Rex cats and would love one but because my lot roam free through a cat flap I can't have one :(
