Title: Jess
Post by: Kelly on November 17, 2006, 18:39:45 PM
1993 - 2005

Jess was our family GSD. We took her in from an abusive home at 3 years old. She was always scared of unknown men, but was the softest dog ever. She was loving and loyal - she was afraid of other dogs regardless of size and even our cat. in 2005 she developed a lump in her tummy. I finally persuaded my dad (she was his dog - he doted on her) to take her to the vet - he'd been putting it off because he knew what it meant. I drove him down and the vet told us it was cancer - aggressive. Being 7months pregnant I couldn't go in with her but she was pts that night. My dad and the family was absolutely devastated and even now when we got our dog Max my dad struggled to be around him. I am still devastated she isn't around now to see my little boy. I hope she's somewhere free of strange men where she feels safe and happy.

This is why Rainbow Bridge exists. Jess will be happy and well loved there, so no need to worry.
