The following is info I've just posted about Hobo pictured below who we would like to find a very special placement for. A touching story, this little man has been through the wars!

Pictured below is Hobo. A 3yr old adorable boy who has spent months, if not years, searching the streets in the hope of finding some scraps of food to eat.
Picked up from the middle of a busy road trying to scrape the old remains of food embedded in the road poor little Hobo was in a very bad way. Dirty, full of worms and fleas and big sores all over his face and skin this handsome boy was struggling to survive until we found him.
In the several months he has been in our care he has developed into a confident, happy, beautiful boy who is full of love and appreciation. He loves nothing more than a long cuddle and lots of loving which are long overdue for this placid, handsome lad.
Ideally Hobo would like an indoor home or somewhere well away from built up areas and busy roads. He would like a new family to open their homes to him but sadly he could not cope with young children.
Other dogs and cats are unknown as we have no history on Hobo.
Hobo is vaccinated, wormed, neutered and up to date on frontline treatments.

awwwww ... grumpy expressions! lol... bless him. He's starting to get a little fed up now me thinks being penned up and could really do with more attention than we can give him. Hope we can find him somewhere special soon as he really deserves it.
He's come a long way since he first arrived with us, bless his little heart. After picking him up we did learn that some of the local youths had been trying to hit him as they drove past! such lovely individuals!!! (note I didn't use the word 'people' as they don't even rank that high!!!!) ggrrrr

Id like to smack them from a car, infact i'd probably hit them with the car as i havent had any lessons yet :evillaugh:
Grumpy man cats are the best, im going to catnap Sylvias lot one day soon (minimum of just Tabs) cant say when incase shes reading :shify: :shify: :car: :car: :car: :car: :rofl:

Poor love, good job you found him when you did, doesn't bear thinking about what could have happened to him if you hadn't picked him up :'(
Hope he finds a home soon, sorry I dont live closer.

What an absolute gorgeous little puss. When I saw his piccie I instantly said "Awwwwwwwww" !!
Im not suprised he looks grumpy with what he has been through.
Keeping fingers crossed that someone will snap him up very very soon.

He is an absolute stunner too and turned out to be a real big stocky boy too... the pic doesnt' really show his true size. ;D
We had a new load of volunteer placements start this week (thank gawd and not before time!! :loon:) so he was getting lots of attention and some new toys too! so that cheered him up for a while today that he actually burst into life running about in his pen! (First time we've seen that from Hobo) It was SO nice to see him happy. :happy dance:
We dread to think what would have come of him had we not found him and were disgusted with the local youths attitude to this poor wee man. I wish I had piccies of him when he came in so you could see the different but I never got round to it we were so busy and were just happy he was recovering.
Fingers crossed we find somewhere special for him which I'm sure we will and at least he is happy, safe and loved where he is for now until that perfect place for him comes along. :agree:

I've just looked at his piccie again and my heart wants to melt! He is adorable, and looks like he needs a real biiiiiiiiiiiig cuddle!
The yobs will get their commupance. I don't believe that you can be nasty piece of work and not be paid back for it some way or other.
Here's hoping eh?

Best thing to do... you don't want to rush these decisions.. taking on any new furbabe is a big decision and you have to be ready. :)
The right little one will come along for you when you're ready. xx :hug:

Great news folks! Hobo is booked and subject to final paperwork he should be off to his new home very soon! :)
So pleased for him... he really deserves it.

Thats brilliant - so happy for Hobo - although maybe a wee tincy bit jealous I am not in a position to take him on :sick: lol!!! Lucky people - I'm sure he will make a great companion!!

Well folks Hobo has settled in fine in his new home as a house cat in Edinburgh.
Here are a couple of updates from his new slave.
Hi everyone at CATS,
I just thought I'd let you know that Hobo seems to be settling in very well! He is just trying out one chair after the other to see which is best for sleeping on and the beds that I bought have not yet had a look in!
He is being very soft and affectionate and is quite relaxed...so early days but all looks good.
Here are a couple of pictures - not great quality as I had to take them with my phone - my boyfriend has taken the good camera away on holiday for the week.
Once he is back, I will send some more pictures and update you with how Hobo is doing!

Hi Sarah,
Just to let you know that Hobo continues to settle in well...he is getting cheekier every day! I am gradually training him to play in the daytime rather than at 3am which was when he woke up to play for the first couple of weeks! Now he wakes up at normal time so I am less sleep deprived!
