I've just received this, can anyone help? If anyone can, can they please contact Josie direct
Two Cats Will be Put to Sleep if they are not Rescued by Sunday!!! Please help to Save Them if You can
I have 2 cats that are desperate. (17 year old and 14.5 year old)
This person has tried everyone and all the groups she can think of.
NO ONE WILL TAKE THEM.
PLEASE PLEASE IS THERE ANYONE WHO WILL SAVE THESE CATS.
They must have a non-euthanise policy because of the cats ages. These cats
have the right to live the rest of their days peacefully.
THESE CATS MUST BE COLLECTED OR RELOCATED BY SUNDAY OR BE PUT TO SLEEP.
THEY ARE BASED IN THE CROYDON - SURREY AREA.
Please contact JOSIE NOW ON 07852 166883. wysiwig@blueyonder.co.uk

I dont have the deatails any more but there is a group in Streatham who may help.
I know thats not very helpful, sorry.
-
It's not far from Bromley - maybe Denise will know. Does anyone (BC?) know how to contact her?
-
I take it that CP Croydon have been contacted cos they have quite a lot of space
-
Apparently they've contacted all rescue groups :tired:
-
I spoke to Josie just now, i know her from white chapel appeal, she has some one standby for transport and she is going to check if they are up to date with their jabs so maybe they can go to a cattery for now till a place comes up , i told her if she can sort it i cover the cost, thats all i can do to help to buy them some time. I dont know any one to take them in but mean while if any one else can help to find them a place would be great. Such a shame a cat lives to the age of 17 and then PTS because there is no place to take them in :(
She is going to call me tomorrow afternoon and let me know .
-
Pav, you are an angel :Flowers: Thank you so much hun  , xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
-
What about if they are not up to date with their vaccination?
maybe we can find a vet surgery who does boarding and then they can give them the jabs and take them in?
-
Well done Pav - this is a lovely offer :shy: hope these babies are vaccinated so its easier to get them housed ;D
-
I dont think this thread should be forgotten about cos these two cats still need a forever home and fast .
-
I know Gill, i do hope some one here can help them to find a home , my offer is just to buy them some time till a foster or forever home comes up, i think their owner is moving and if there are no place found for them she wants to pts :(, so i thought cattery can be a temporary option i know its not really suitable for cats 17 and 14/ , its bad enough loosing their home , :( hopefully some one can help them.
-
Yes you are very kind Pav and thats why we must keep this thread going so they are not forgotten about......its so sad
-
If that falls through has anyone rang FoalFarm 01959 572386(1.30pm - 4.30pm only)
or
Romney house 01959 572319 / 07958 273118
-
Gill, I know the place in Streatham you're refering to... not ideal. :shify:
If anyone down my area of Kent, or inbetween, is willing to take on these 2, I will bring them down here. As some know, I've got family not far from Croydon so a trip on either Friday or Sunday is possible.
But sorry can't help personally with fostering or rehoming. :(

If sentence can be deferred for one week I can take them as fosters - am unable to do so next week as I am away for two nights, but more than happy for them to come here after I return next Thursday if they can be got here ...
-
Wow that sounds like a good offer ;D

BC thanks for that  Is there any chance you could contact Josie and hopefully something can be sorted out for them  I think Josie has got a lift on standby to take them to their new location.
-
Have sent her an email Dawn - will see what transpires ...
-
Thanks, xxx

As we we have told we are not good punters on purrs as we don't have time to post on the site to often, but we are so busy with homing and rescuing, but we will never Se any poor little cat PTS if its in our power to help, LSCB has homed 14 cats in the last ten days and have room to take in the two little Babes and foster them out to good homes if transport can be arranged. to get them down to Brighton Ron.
-
Ron, as always, you are just an absolute star and if only the world was filled with people like you, Pav etc, the world would be a much better place  Is there a possibility you could email or phone Josie to let her know how you can help and then she can work out the best way to go about things? Alternatively, I can contact her for you and she can contact you direct. Thanks guys, you really are amazing when push comes to shove and at least for now with the offers of help, we know they will be safe until a home is found for them :grouphug:
-
Hi Dawn can i leave it up to you to arrange things as i am dead beat i have been up since dawn, and me and Dave have really been hard at it the last week or so and have another hard day tomorrow Ron.
-
No problems, I know the feeling being dead beat, I had half hour kip last night so pretty much zombified at the moment but I will email her now and let her know, thanks
-
I've emailed her now and have also sent her a link to the thread so hopefully she will be in contact soon, xxxxxxxxxx
-
Hi Dawn, I received an email from Josie saying that the cats have found a safe haven. Apparently the SWAP team was notified, but did not pass on the message to us.
-
Thanks for that BC, at least they are sorted
-
Josie, has left a message on my answering, to say that the problem resolved and they have a place,so they are safe. :cheer:
She said she is still getting lots of call about them, and she is going to let every one know they have been offered a place. :thanks:
-
I had an email earlier to confirm this :) Thanks to everyone who offered to help
-
I meant to say earlier, this is a forever home that they've been found and not a rescue :)
-
well that's good news Dawn.
-
Thats great if they have got a forever home ;D
