Title: What breed is my cat?

Hi there,
I got my wonderful cat, Cookie, from a rescue center about a year ago and my mum and I have since been debating what breed she is. My mum thinks she's maine coone [sp?] but I don't really think she (my mum) knows what she's talking about! Hopefully these links'll work:

Has anyone got any ideas what breed she could be, and help settle my argument?

If she doesn't have registration papers, then she's a mixed breed or moggy  ;D  But she may well have some maine coon in her - she does look a a bit coonie  :Luv:  She's lovely  :Luv2: :Luv2:

Yep, doesn't matter what her parents were if she has no papers she's a moggie. (They're my favourite! ;D) Cookie is lovely. :Luv:

Ah right thanks, so I suppose we're both a bit right then. Unfortunately she's been bitten by something (probably that evil cat next door) and she's got an abcess on her neck  :'(, but with some careful cleaning and lots of TLC the vet said she'll be fine in no time.

I tell you what kind of a cat Cookie is a "BEAUTY"!!!  :Luv:  Though she may very well have some maine coon in her I agree, but her most prominent breed is definitely "BEAUTY"!! ;)

But yeah, I agree with Susanne, more pics would help for a closer examination (and viewing pleasure)!!

I hope she will heal soon!!

She is gorgeous and does look a bit maine coonish, but can't really say.

Has she got a BIG fluffy tail ?  She hasnt got the little Lynx ears Leo has but all the same she is a stunner  :Luv2:
