Little Clyde, the black and white stray we picked up last week is in a very bad way. We are guessing on Liver or Kidney failure due to getting to her just a bit too late.
Not sure if she will make it to the morning but giving a/biotics and pain meds to help see her through the night with constant supervision. Please keep your fingers crossed... for either a pick up in her condition or a quick painless end. :'(
will update in the am. Just wish we could take away the pain and give her a new happy healthy life.... she has been through so much already.

I am so sorry to hear this, I do hope she pulls through - have you given her any sub-q fluids? They help for both conditions.
-
Thanks Desley... yes we have... she has stayed much the same overnight... just on my way out with her to the vet now.
Will update when I get back .... thanks guys

Hi Guys,
Just back.... :'( :'( So sorry to say but there was nothing more we could do for little Clyde. :'( She has now passed over to the bridge where I'm sure she is now playing happily.
The vet confirmed suspected kidney failure and a build up of toxins in her wee body.
She didn't have much of a life at all but at least for the last 10 days or so she has known :Luv: and affection and somewhere safe and warm to rest her weary head.
an upsetting end for this beautiful little girl but at least she is at peace now. :shy:
Here is a wee pic of the little one taken at the weekend.

:RIP: beautiful Clyde. At least she knew love and warmth in her last days and is now at peace instead of being in pain and in the cold. Doesn't make it any easier I know, but you did all you could.  to you for your efforts. :Luv2:

I am so sorry to hear this, but she was lucky to have come to you, and known love and warmth, and allowed to go peacefully with dignity, it could have been a lot worse for her. RIP little one.

thanks guys. She is in a better place now. :shy:
I always had a nagging feeling about Clyde since she came in and despite the vet checks, antibiotics, she just didn't pick up any. At least in the end it was quick. Poor wee girl.
As you say... at least she knew love and affection in her final days. She never asked for much at all bless her.
thanks for all the kind thoughts
