Title: Looks like we are off to vets first thing in the morning
Post by: Michelle (furbabystar) on December 16, 2007, 22:55:52 PM
Lilly has just used the litter tray and there was a large amount of blood in her wee -
I will ring vet in morning and have a chat, he has in the past given me antibiotics and an injection without seeing the cat (norm issey) but because of the amount of blood i will see what he says.
I have managed to collect some of it (as she had moved the litter away) so will take that with me too. (if he wants to see her)

Yeah thats why i going to tell him about the amount of blood.
When Issey gets a bout of Cysitis he is good and i just go and collect medication but i am concerned about the amount of blood in it.
It might be normal for Cysitis though, I just dont know Gill.

I would just book an app to be honest Michelle - while he might just prescribe antibiotics, they can be different for each cat, and he might also want to give her an anti-inflammatory as well due to the blood. The urine sample needs to be fresher though, if she goes again, I would collect that as well.

good luck with Lily, Michelle - maybe by now you have already seen the vet?  It sounds horrible. How did you get on?

Thanks Guys.
I norm just collect antibiotics and an injection but due to the amount of blood
Lilly is off to the vets tomorrow morning as my vet wasnt around today
She seems fine in herself, she isnt going to the litter tray more than usual.
The wee she did last night was a full bladder wee (wasnt a trickle)
