Another one from Penny on the Our Cats board:
"Humberside have also recently taken in a tortie 10 month old neutered and vaccinated female but I'm not sure until we've had her for a few days, what she's like. She can't go with children as that's the reason for rehoming. She is also in limited time slot accommodation."
Again, if anyone can help this girl, will they please PM me for Penny's contact details.

What does "limited time slot" accomodation mean exactly?
-
Temporary and short-term.
-
This girl is in accommodation that is only available until the 28th of this month.
She is up for rehoming as she is on the timid side. Also, in her previous home she got pulled around by a small child - which she subsequently bit when it got all a bit too much for her. So she definitely needs to be homed where there are no young children and where folks are experienced with timid cats.

*bump*

This beautiful girl is still looking for a home - she is very happy and affectionate but due to an unfortunate incident in her previous home does not like children. (It is why she is up for rehoming.)
Have attached a picture of the little lass. :Luv2:

Awww, she looks so brassed off! Hope she finds somewhere really soon - sending her a huge fuss. :Luv:

just out of curiosity what happens when the 'limited time slot' needs to be vacated??
would love to be able to say we could help.... just the wrong end of the country!
good luck... I'm sure you will find a good home for her... she looks a real sweetie.

AWWW she looks adorable.
Good for biting that child. I mean we can say. LOOK IF YOU PULL ME ONE MORE TIME, I'M REALLY GONNA SHOUT.
She can't, we can give a slap. All she can do is bite or scratch. Sorry but it's the childs/parents fault they should of stopped the child doing it and taught it to respect the cat.
Poor little lass, she's beter off out of there. Wish she could come to me.
Doesn't matter how much I want another cat, I can't because of Zubin, he wouldnt accept it. He hates sharing me with Thai & Zebedee as it is.

I have that problem too. Financially I couldn't really either, but whenever any of the other three are having a fuss Old Mog butts her way in - she's terribly possessive these days. I have to say, the tabby torti on Reynards other thread really made me feel sad about not being in a position to take on another cat - so glad she got to go home! I hope this little girl gets the wonderful home she deserves too; and I agree, it's up to the parents to teach children about respect for animals.

Penny says she won't be PTS when her current accomodation becomes unavailable but that her subsequent care will be funded by the Humberside Cat Club.
It's not ideal I know - what this girl really needs is a home to call her own. She's had a bad experience bless her and deserves better. I Just hope that someone might be able to think of something.

yes. there was a child on the train tonight I would have liked to bite, but sadly there was another adult between me and the child ... :evillaugh:

oh well that's a relief! :)
Fingers crossed that something can be found for her really soon. All fingers and paws crossed here. xx
