In the Health & Behaviour section on CatChat, there is a thread called Lost one to FIP, worried about the other one.
I know nothing about this subject but I know that several of you guys do - could I please direct you to that thread?
:thanks: :thanks:

That is not a bad thing as you won't have come across it. It is a horrible disease and one of the many reasons why Cats Protection do not advocate mixing cats from different situations.

I wish I knew nothing about FIP, I couldnt read articles on it for ages after loosing Tig, but realised I could help people if I did.

I am very conscious that I am lucky to know nothing about this ghastly disease and my heart goes out to those of you who do.

Its a :censored: disease with only one out come.
Lala's Brother died from it -
and about 10 cats at the cattery i worked at died from it too

How did 10 manage to get it, they were not mixed were they? I have known 2 or 3 that have been in our care in about the last 10 years. (although I have heard of loads of others). All must have come in with it as none of our 'normal' cats are ever mixed.
