Hello. A good friend of mine who lives just outside of Chichester is after a kitten. She called to ask my advice and in her case I think a kitten would be best. She and her husband work from home and they have two responsible kids (9 and 11ish). She is determined to get one from rescue and not small ads.
They want, in her words, to "extend their family" and get a kitten for their kids to grow and bond with. I must stress that this is not a Christmas present. Friend or no friend a cat's life is involved and I wouldn't mention it on here unless I believed this was a good home.
If any of you are in or near the area and know of any kittens in rescue, please PM or email me. This will be a very lucky kitten (or kittens, I reckon they'd take a pair) indeed. ;D

Hopefully Lesley will see this as it's not a million miles from her ;D

Unfortunately, (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I have no kittens available at the moment. Do they definitely want a kitten, I have a year old black male I know of looking for a new home.

Well, although I know that this will be a loving forever home, my friend is being rather impatient as her husband has just agreed to having a cat after numerous years and she's so excited. She was knocked back by a couple of rescues who won't rehome over Christmas but today I have heard that she's found a pair of ginger kittens at the RSPCA.
She's over the moon. Thanks for the help Lesley, sorry it didn't come at a better time to help you out.
