Spent most of today having a big clean of the house ... OH was out all day so it seemed like a good time to clear out the wardrobes, clean out the fridge and all the other things I never get round to. I thought it was odd when Bertie didn't potter along to show any interest in what was coming out of the fridge, and strange that Bella didn't "help" me change the bedding, and that Minnie wasn't right in the middle of the stairs when I hoovered them ... a very successful clean-up. Then I realised that right at the start, when I'd gone to the airing cupboard to get some pillow cases, I'd shut ALL THREE inside!!!! When I found them, there was one cat fast asleep on each of the three shelves!! I did try to take a photo but as soon as she saw me, Bella came bouncing out in her usual enthusiastic way!

Could this be the reason why? :evillaugh:
For all the people who were appalled at me not having bought Bertie an Ikea cat tent when he has such a love of boxes and bags, I would like to announce that a fine red example of an Ikea cat tent is now hiding in the airing cupboard ready for a certain ginger monster to enjoy on Christmas Day. And Bella is getting Da Bird :wow:

yes, our presents were always kept in the linen cupboard, on the top shelf so we couldn't reach them (wishful thinking as two energetic and motivated tom-boys can get anywhere  )

So can one lazy tom and two more motivated females, by the looks of it ... got home tonight to discover they'd found - and demolished - the cat treats I'd bought my friends' cats for Christmas ... my fault for not hiding them better :)
