I've just phoned a lady up about a cat that needs rehoming.......what a horrible :censored: :censored: This poor cat is 10 years old, she took it in as a stray and apparently it's having odd accidents everywhere. I have offered to help her once my fosterer is available ;) but she said she may end up having her put down, depending on what the vet says :mad2: :mad2: I explained to her that vets don't know everything and that this could just be a stress related problem and I thought she was being cruel the fact I was offering help, and basically she was turning it down as she wants the help now >:( >:( I could feel my blood pressure soaring, what a horrible human being :censored: I will see what she decides once she had a chat to her husband.

Did you say human being..........definately not human in my books >:( >:( >:(
-
She knew I wasn't impressed with her anyway........not sure I dealt with it too well :naughty:
-
Ohh did i see blue air ........coming out of your ears of course :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
-
Oh this just makes me so cross >:( - and the sad thing is, its not just a one off is it? It happens again and again, how can people be so uncaring. :(
-
I'm going to give her a ring again tomorrow and find out what they've decided. Dawn said she can take him a week on Friday and hopefully she'll wait this long. If I have to take him until Dawn gets back, I will do but we'll see what happens. I am going to phone the vets tomorrow as I know the vets she uses and I will tell them if she takes her in, I have offered her a home and not to put her to sleep ;)

I had a woman on the phone today who's mum is going into sheltered housing. She said they are really upset and her mum took the cat to the vet to PTS as they thought it would be "kinder" - it's the vet next door to me. Luckily, the vet refused and told her a healthy 11 year old still has a good 10 years left. The odd thing is, she was crying on the phone and said her mum is only sleeping 2 or 3 hours a night as she is so upset. I asked why she couldn't take it but she said she lives in Tenerife now and is only here for a few weeks. She is kindly offering us his bed, toys and carrier :tired: - she will also give a donation of a box of "bits" that can be sold to raise funds :tired:

Oh poor little girl, cant the :censored: woman put some news paper down for a while?
They dont pts people when they have accident, this little one was stray, she didnt ask to go to this woman. Oh god some people are so cruel >:(
-
This woman was the pits :censored: Even hubby said he didn't like the sound of her when he spoke to her, she is what I would class as scum of the earth, how can anyone be so heartless but I did tell her she was cruel :naughty: I'm sure Dawn and Phil can work their magic on her and a loving home can be found :Luv2:

Hey Mark, you're not hijacking........some peeps are just not very nice when it comes to cats. This "woman" has had this one getting on 10 years from what I can make out, she turned up as a stray and all of a sudden, she wants rid >:( Her family are coming over from America and she said apart from her messing, her grandkids are scared of her.........put the cat in another room away from them then :mad2:
-
Aww, I hate reading stories like this, fingers crossed she will hang on Dawn.

Sadly true, I hear that so many times a week, of course we always manage to sort it but it is heartbreaking. I gad a call last night about a cat who a family had for about 8 yrs apparently it may have broken its leg and the family were going to have it PTS as they could not afford the x/ray even. I have offered to lend them the money but he did not seem to want to pay back so offered to take the cat in, he said he will let me know today. I too am phoning the vet this morning. In fact I will ring now and see if they are open.

Just had a phone call and this little babe will be residing at her new foster home in a couple of weeks :yesss: :yesss: Total change of heart this morning, she said she knows the vet would agree and he would suggest rehoming her and giving her a try, she said possibly a change of scene will be the making of her  I was a good girl as well, I remained very nice with her today :evillaugh:

:um: where is that Dawn? Could it be Chez Lucas? :naughty:
What is the lovely ladies name? (cat that is... NOT "owner")
-
Yes, at Chez Lucas :evillaugh: I've just had to ring them back now to ask what her name is :-[ She is all black and she is called Magnolia :heeee heeee: Talking to the hubby, he is totally different, he really appreciates her being given a second chance and thanked me  Shame I didn't deal with him to start with :sneaky:
-
Another black cat in our house :Luv:
Awww I quite like the name Magnolia, bless her ;D
-
I can spray her a different colour if you want :evillaugh:
-
Nah black cats are fab
-
That's great! ;D
Yup, black cats are fab dare I say so myself. :Luv2: I did have a green-pointed black once, but it's a looooooooong story.
