Hi all,
I've actually always been a dog person and have a cairn terrier but as my partner has two recue cats I feel the need for some help and advice. Cats seem very different to dogs to me. Anyway we are hoping that they will all get along so fingers crossed.

Hi and :welcome: to Purrs,
Cats ARE very different to dogs but that doesn't make them less loving. I'm sure in no time at all your partners kitties will work there charms on you ... cats are very good at worming their way into your heart ;)
There are lots of people on here who have both cats and dogs and they will be able to give you loads of advice on how best to integrate your furries. As long as your doggie understands the cats are the boss there shouldn't be a problem
All the best
Sam, Foxy, Zephyr and Ross ixxx
