-
Sounds like Sealpoint - hope the owner comes forward :-[
-
sounds like franta who is a seal piont birman ;D
-
Ummm.....I think it's mine :shify: ;)
Might have to pay you another visit for a spot of catnappin
-
went to see it yesterday and it is indeed a birman.
Very badly matted , took it to Jill and we did some of the fir yesterday. Covered in flea dirt but didn't see a live flea but there were 3 mega-normous tics that Jill took great delight in squishing  lots of dark iron coloured gung on the floor after jill had been jumping up and down on tissue paper.
Jill took her to vets today and they sedated the cat and jill spent all afternoon de-matting.
This cat has been out for a long time and there are no reports of a missing Birman so I guess it now has a new home ;)
If any reports come in of one missing recently then I'm afraid the condition she was in I would not really want her to go back. She is very thin and will need a good bit of feeding up.
-
And of course you would recognize a birman ;)
Poor little devil I hope that he will be OK

They do! so its either a sealpoint Persian or Raggie - but unfortunately she's obviously very shy (or very rude) and doesnt want to show her face LOL! :evillaugh:
Bless her - glad she's in safe hands :Luv2:
-
definately not a birman cos as others said birmansd have white feet.
whar colour etes? if blue i would also guess at a raggie or a persian. raggies are ver simliar to birmans
-

Ah, all is clear now - its is the keyboard's fault LOL!
-
Yep had my book out again last night
Its a good book but they seem to want to draw cats rather than have photos which is a bit odd.
Having said that there is a drawing of a colourpoint that is the spitting image of this cat. Her fur is long so that dismisses some of the oriental longhair types.

Try these Angie! (both got blue eyes)
SEALPOINT PERSIAN (round face, flattish profile, small ears)
SEALPOINT RAGDOLL (pointier face, larger ears)
-
I vote raggie
-
I vote Raggie too ;D
-
Methinks Persian ;) - are we having a wager? :)
-
NO lol, I already lost my shirt at cheltenham
-
I still like persian. Looks nice and cobby.
Controversial.....
Could she be a crossbreed?
I'll let you know when I've been round and bundled her into the boot :evillaugh:
-
Any update on this girl?
-
Think she's more likely a raggie, though it could be a combination of some sort of cross.
She has been adopted by Jill and has settled down very well in her household, likes people, the other cats and the allotments at the back of the house and is one contened cat - saw her yesterday.
-
So is she homed or still looking?
