Just to update on this "lola" has had her results back (or lolas mum has anyway) and they are BENIGN  :wow:

So no chemo or further treatment required unless another one grows but lola should be just fine which is wonderful as she is only 5 years old  :)

Not often we hear such good news from lumps around that area so this was fab.

You have Ela, but when I posted that last night, you hadn't.
That's interesting Lynn - I told my vet it is something I wouldnt do, and she said that it can be useful for certain things, and isn't necessarily like human chemo, and doesn't have the same side effects. I would still be dubious, but would base it on the age of the cat, and the prognosis.

I dont know if in the case of mammary cancer it would have must significance to be honest  :(  But chemo certainly has its place and i believe will become more wide spread used in the future.
