Anyone have experience of chemotherapy for mammary cancer - from CC

Just to update on this "lola" has had her results back (or lolas mum has anyway) and they are BENIGN 

So no chemo or further treatment required unless another one grows but lola should be just fine which is wonderful as she is only 5 years old 

Not often we hear such good news from lumps around that area so this was fab.

You have Ela, but when I posted that last night, you hadn't.
That's interesting Lynn - I told my vet it is something I wouldnt do, and she said that it can be useful for certain things, and isn't necessarily like human chemo, and doesn't have the same side effects. I would still be dubious, but would base it on the age of the cat, and the prognosis.

I dont know if in the case of mammary cancer it would have must significance to be honest    But chemo certainly has its place and i believe will become more wide spread used in the future.
