It arrived today. She hasn't touched her food. I'm hoping she is just having one of those days rather than the taste putting her off (she already has Renalzin in her food which she is fine with) - she only needs 1/2 capsule a day as it says one per 5kg body weight. (she is only 2.5kg)

I have only ever used Cystaid, but I think it is a good product.

There are loads of links that say it is fine for cats as well. Apparently it is a sister sugar to Glucosamine.

I personally don't know the difference but we've always given Jess cystease.

Also wondering about d-mannose - I read that it clear cystitis in a day. http://www.dmannose.co.uk/ - it looks like it would help the 1% of cases where it is bacterial.

The chances of her taking them are slim so I just ordered cystease (from you know who as it was £15  :evillaugh: )

I *think* i read one had alfalfa one didnt but then they brought out cystease s, at that point i didnt read anymore as had a huge pot for taz already

Apart from a huge difference in price?

The glucosamine is the same amount and type. If anything, Cytease, the cheaper one has prebitics which I would assume are to make the Glucosamine more readily absorbable.
