Thanks - she was a bit quiet till this morning, then finally came back for her cuddles. She has just been sitting with her paw up, but I have put Metacam in her food, and see how she is later today.

good on ya Molly - that has to be a good sign and so pleased she enjoyed her food. Glad everything seems to have gone well too so you can breathe a bit easier.

Molly isnt going to the vets today, she didn't come out till 6.30am and got to the food before I could stop her!! I have now blocked off the place she was in (probably the only place in the house I can't reach!!) so she is sulking. She is walking better though and not growling at her leg anymore, but it is still bothering her, as she isn't 100% normal. i have put Metacam in her food and will speak to the vet later.

They have done glue on both cats, so that is good. Kizzy's nose was scabby, but he would prefer not to say what it could be without a biopsy, so will have to see what to do about rehoming her, but she isn't ready yet anyway. She has been on bestest behaviour today, she even spat and walked back when she saw Charlie on the stairs, although she is still a bit dopey, bless her - it is amazing the difference in the two girls, Misty has been bounding about as though nothing has happened, so it just proves how well they come round if done young.
Molly is still hiding from me, and I can't reach her, so unless she comes out and stays out, she ain't going to the vets in the morning!!

Well, I can pick the girls up in 15 mins, then just got to go through something similar tomorrow for Molly's x-rays!! Fingers crossed the vet could do the glue/dissolvables, and that her nose wasn't too concerning

Thanks - Molly has to go to the other branch tomorrow for x-rays, both her front legs seem really crackly, we are hoping it is just a touch of arthritis, she has had a painkiller and can have some Metacam later if she seems in pain again - she is currently hiding from me, bless her. She hadn't used the tray overnight, so decided the carrier was the best place to wee and poo!! Still waiting to hear about the girls, but there was an RTA brought in while I was waiting wiht Molly, which was the end of consults, they had had to squeeze me in, so the spays had been delayed anyway.

Got 2 in for spaying today, have never been so on edge with a spay though, but am very worried about Kizzy - mind you, have never had a 10yo in to be spayed before, and i think part of the concern is her nose, as it looks similar to Pebbles when she had her precancerous scabs - dont know what we will do if it is precancerous, as the rescue lady might not want to home her then, but she hates other cats with a passion, although that might die down in time. I also dread to think what state her insides are like with 10 years of coming into heat, I am hoping that is part of her aggression. She was such a love last night though, she spent part of the evening just curled up next to me, i was sad to move her to make sure she had her last meal, the only hiss I had was when I put her in the kitchen with no food!!

Misty is only 6mo, so not expecting any issues there, although she is on the small side for a 6mo - vet did say to book her in asap though.

One of the fosters upset Molly last night, and i think it has aggravated her arthritis, but never heard her yowl so loudly with that shoulder, so am going to see if they can see her today - i do have Metacam in, but want her checking over - might finally get to put my first claim in for her, I have paid insurance for 2 years so far.

What a good job I dont have to go to work today!!
