Chicken and pumpkin goes down really well with my lot! Didnt think it would when I first tried it, was convinced they wouldnt eat those bits of pumpkin - but they did! If I remember rightly, pumpkin is supposed to be a good veggie for cats with CRF.  ;D

I did the competition on Applaws site and got the chicken fillet one for free.  My Oscar loved it!  Ive found he loves Natures Menu sachets though which is a good petfood and easier to get locally.  That and James Wellbeloved dry food.   :) ;)

He certainly has, I had forgotten what it was like to have a young active playful cat.  Dragan had slowed down so much during the last three years of his life although he did like the odd playtime.

Sounds like he got you wrapped around his paw already  ;)

If he's happy and healthy on the Felix then I wouldn't worry to much, its great if they will eat the better quality food, but if they don't want it I guess we can't force them lol!

It's a pain though because all he will eat is Felix Good As It Looks.  When he was first straying round the neighbourhood he would eat anything on offer but now anything you give him except Felix he pushes his dish away and tries to scrape over it.  He did like a bit of freshly cooked chicken at first but has even turned his nose up at that now.  I really wanted to get him onto something healthier that he would enjoy but I will persevere for a while until he wins.

Isn't it funny that some love and it and others hate it!  It always looks really nice to me too, been tempted to try a bit before but didn't  :evillaugh:

That's the first one I tried and he was disgusted.  Took on small mouthful and kicked the rest away.  Also tried him with two of the Tuna flavours but still the same reaction.    Still to try Tuna and Cheese, Tuna and Seaweed, Tuna Fillet, chicken and pumpkin and chicken fillet.  It looks really delicious to me

What flavour Applaws have you got?  Chicken and cheese goes down best with my boy, he starts shouting at me as soon as he hears the tin being opened  :evillaugh:

Well the sample pack arrived today, 8 tins of Applaws, two samples of Burns plus a sample of an organic dry food.  Guess what, Charlie has tried two and hated them both, scraped his dish and refused to even try it.  Back to Good as it Looks today but will try some more tomorrow.

There's a thing in the bargains section on here to do a quiz for a free can of applaws. That way you'd know if your cat would eat it. :)

Have just bought a case, saves my petrol and time going to the shop which sells it, and that will keep him going for a while as he's on the renal food as well.

Whoever thought cat food could cost so much lol!  Only the best for my boy though  :shy:

Just seen it for £12.85 on Surrey Pet Supplies, and about the same on Zooplus, but don't know their postage rates, so may end up being quite similar.

The only problem is to find mixed packs, as my boy likes all the flavours lol!

Guess I'll have to do a trip to my local garden centre again, I know they stock it  ;D

Lol at you re quiz

Thanks Amy, I'll take a look at that seller as Max loves Applaws and I've run out lol!

Does that work out cheaper than the likes of other online stockists then? I'm thinking of putting my two on it too, they liked the sample.

Just seen on the Pet Club site that they will send you a trial pack of one of each of all flavours of Applaws plus samples of Burns for £5 plus postage.  Have ordered it though he hates Burns but my neighbour's cats can have it.

I found an eBay seller who was offering samples free with orders. I ordered fountain filters and got a free can.

It turned out that the packaging had MPM on the side so I think the seller was directly related to MPM. They're called RJJpets. I've never been happier with a seller on eBay so I'm naming them in person! 24 70g cans inc shipping comes to £16.99.

There are a couple of reasons why I liked this seller but one was that the postage on the label was more than they'd charged me and postage is always a niggle for me on eBay.

And no, it's not me  :evillaugh:

Charlie has been eating Felix Good As It Looks since he arrived.  I want to introduce him to something of better quality and quite a few posters have mentioned Applaws.  I have seen it advertised at Pet Club for 59p for a 70g tin.  Does anyone know a) where I can get a sample of it to try and b) if anyone sells it cheaper?  Thanks
