I usually skip that song as I've heard it to many times  :evillaugh:

It's for her - It's too hot up there for me but I don't want her to get cold. She has her own bedroom and ensuite  :evillaugh:

When she is a bit better, She will be given free reign of the house but at the moment, If I bring her down she just goes back up there

Thanks  ;D

Now the problem is the pills - why couldn't they give me 2.5mg pills instead of 5mg? - So I have to decide. Big half or little half

Are preds bitter? - I have hidden it in the food and hope she eats it.
Depends how fussy the cat is, taffy tried preds and i crushed them in his food and he never noticed  ;D

I am now off to the co-op as she is only interested in Whiskas at the moment and none of the dozens of other things I already have  :tired:

She is getting braver by the minute and even waited while I did the tray to jump straight in to dirty it again  :tired:  :evillaugh:

Can steroids give cats a runny nose? - She was asleep on me and had a big dewdrop hanging

I wondered what happened - your post disappeared then came back

Maybe we should "rattle their cage" when they are playing up  :evillaugh:

Not that Alice plays up  :Luv2:

They were saying they will try to shave her without a sedative to see how she goes and I told them she would never scratch or bite  :Luv2:

It's a relief but we still need to sort her out - I am just hoping the steroids work  :Luv2:

She is more affectionate than ever - She must have thought I had abandoned her  :(

Thanks BC  ;D

They will probably need to "get the supervisor"  :evillaugh:

I bought some cat litter and some rizla in the co-op earlier. The guy serving me who was about 17 had to get a supervisor to swipe a card to sell me the rizla

get yourself a pill cutter, they should be available from the local pharmacy for a pound or so - no pet-friendly home should be without one. They cut the pill precisely down the middle and so you no longer have to make a decision ...

I laid down on the bed up there and she came for a cuddle. She is more affectionate than ever and looks even cuter with her shaved belly & neck  :Luv2:

She has had 1/2 tin and no vomiting so will let her sleep her ordeal off - I think it's food in jelly that makes her sick so sticking to the gravy ones for a while.

Anyway, she ran straight up to her room and hid under the bed - for all of 10 seconds until I wafted her Whiskas chicken in gravy - she shot out like lightning and is devouring it  :Luv2:

Just had my lunch put in front of me (pub lunch with Sharon today  ;D - no booze though :no no: ) when the vet called. No sign of any tumour  ;D. Her white blood cells have  raised enzyme levels in line with a having parasites - he said it is unlikely she has worms given the number of treatments she has had. Nevertheless, he wormed her again. It doesn't explain her hard swollen belly but he thinks her bowel is inflamed. He has prescribed preds. 1/2 tab twice a day for 4 days, followed by 1/2 tab once a day for another 4 days. If she doesn't respond, he will send off a fecal sample to the lab. He said her kidney readings were higher than the last time and borderline CRF. I told him she threw up all her breakfast this morning and he said that will probably explain the dehydration.

So fingers crossed - at least we know she doesn't have cancer  ;D
