I am sure many of our cats would love this and I can't believe there's a choice of blue or pink too.
I am very tempted ;)

Most definitely but one's servant must provide one's treats close to hand.
-
Yes that would be good use of the buffet for the slaves :naughty: :evillaugh:
Mary
-
ooh no! it's a rocking chair - could see clumsy Dexter having all manner of mishaps on that!
-
Think I might have to buy one for Bonnie to make up taking her to the vet tomorrow. I clipped her claw too far down and it's bleeding on and off. Blood pawmarks all over the house now- I know exactly where she goes ;) At least she isn't limping and didn't cry when I did it either. Eating and drinking and sunbathing at the moment.

I took Bonnie to the vet yesterday and he said she's fine. I didn't actually cut it that far down and it's healing on it's own. Eddie gave her a cuddle and off home we went.
Guess what? I've ordered the pink chair for Bonnie
Mary

I cannot wait to see this!
-
What a lucky girl she is!
-
Such good news. On all counts, and the chair will prove to her ladyship that you're very humbled at having almost ruined her manicure. ;)
-
Glad she is ok, lets just hope she uses it! :evillaugh:
-
I cannot wait to see this!
[/color]
Me too ;)
I hope she uses it too. Might be next year when I finally get a photo of her using it :evillaugh:
If I place it where the sun is shining I might have a chance.
No more bleeding from her foot thank God.
Mary
-
I'm sure she'll love it ;D
She is very spoilt ;D
I am not letting Jaffa and Mosi read this in case they get ideas of what sort of thing they should have every time I do something nasty to them!
I haven't clipped their claws too far down (yet) but if I did I'd tell them to stop being a drama queen and that it was only a bit of blood :innocent: At least if it was Mosi I would. If it was Jaffa I'd kiss it better, give him some dreamies and apologise profusely. Then tell him to stop being a drama queen
I am such a bad meowmy.
-
I don't believe you Susanne :evillaugh: If it was Mosi you would lay him on HIS coffee table and tickle his tummy and feed him dreamies etc. until he forgave you
The only thing I'm annoyed about is that I'm still finding bloody paw prints all over the house.

Can I ask a claw clipping question on here as I've not had to do it before....?!
Denzel & Dexter both go out and I have never had to clip their claws. Evie has been wandering out a TINY bit, maybe for a total of 15mins a day if that. Her claws are not too long, but super sharp. can I trim them a bit to save my arms and legs, or should I leave them to let her climb better outside???
-
You can trim them but they will get sharp again in no time due to scratching. Mind you, that's why I trim them regularly! I value my skin. And I dont want them hurting each other. As Evie goes outside she might be better with them left a bit longer and sharper though so that she can climb and get away from anyone eg another cat chasing her. They will probably wear down a bit if she goes out more due to walking on hard surfaces.
If they are a problem for you (ie you getting scratches or getting caught on things like curtains) I would trim them a little but not too much.
-
OK :thanks: she doesn't really want to go out, might try and trim a couple a bit....
-
yer I think I agree with Susanne. My arms and my back and my chest are full of scratches at the moment. I got them all when I was in bed (dirty minds get closed!) when asleep Bonnie walks all over me and slips and I get scratched. Also when I'm awake too ;) That's why I was anxious to clip them the other day without my specs. Getting my specs tomorrow so will have to do the rest of them.
No matter how short they are Bonnie will probably scratch her new chair when it comes. :naughty:
Mary
-
Bonnie certainly is spoiled, but as an older lady she does need her comforts.
*crosses fingers Bonnie finds her new throne appealing*
-
Throne is the word
It's in store ready for me to pick up so I think it might be Saturday.
Mary
-
we await the pics!
-
Btw this was the result of one of my encounters with sharp claws

That was poor Jaffa clambering across me to get to the top of the sofa. He slipped trying to clamber over me to get to the back of the sofa.
I had a similar injury from playing peek a boo under the duvet with Mosi. Try explaining that one at A&E!
-
Ouch! That had to hurt.
-
Ooh! That looks sore and deep!
Even if I get a tiny nick my skin always becomes inflamed and itchy :'(
-
That does look sore!
We have to clip Cleo's claws fairly often as she doesn't spend much time out of doors and is very willing to give me a slap if I transgress in any way (currently trying to deal with a tangle on her tummy :scared: ).
-
OMG Susanne, that could have been really bad on your eyes.
Why the chuff do we put ourselves through this for our little furry ones?
Mary
-
Well, I picked the chair up from the shop today and hopefully will have tome tomorrow to get it out of the box ;)
Watch this space :evillaugh:
Mary
-
:shify: has she used it, or is it still in the box?! :shify:
-
Still in the box I'm afraid :evillaugh:
I promise I will get there once my mum isn't driving me crazy and I don't feel like just going to bed when I come home from seeing her ;) I know she can't help it but she says some horrid things - today it was "I got better looked after in hospital than here" She said this after I told her off for not using her zimmer frame and said she would fall and end up in hospital again.
It will come out of the box tomorrow.
Mary
-
you k now your mother doesnt mean it mary
-
Yer I know Gill, but it's hard toget out of your mind sometimes :thanks:
Well I can't sleep so I've got the chair out of the box :evillaugh:
It's really nice but God knows how a child uses it, unless it's just me with not having any kids but I would expect it to be bigger for them.
I've got a small blanket I will put on it in the morning for her - let's see how long it will take for her to use it ;)
Mary
-
:shify: :waiting: :evillaugh:
-
Mary
-
extra   Mary. It does hurt.
My mum just called to wish me a happy new year  There's no telling her it isn't new year or that dad won't be coming home soon because he died two years ago :( What a cruel disease it is.
-
New Year you can laugh off but it's not nice when they think loved ones are still alive
Chair is an ornament at the moment - but watch this space :evillaugh:
Mary

Its a nightmare when they are like this !
I got to speak to my brother on the phone and he said we all want him locking away in this home and conspiring to,keep him locked up so he can't get back home!
Then slammed the phone down!
He told my neighbour who went to see him today he is going home tomorrow , but has gone back to,taking his clothes off again and they have had to sedate him at night as he is wandering round everyone's rooms looking for drinks and food !
Told me they don't feed him !
-
Good job we have our cats to cheer us up ;)
I've just had a call from the police to say my mum's in hospital, I've updated my hospital thread.
Mary
-
The moment has finally arrived at 2.40 a.m. this morning :wow:
I was on my lap top and Bonnie got annoyed cos I wouldn't let her sit on me so........................ she sat on her own chair :Luv2:
Mary
-
Well isn't she just the bees knees in her new chair!! :wow: :wow: Fab piccie Mary. :Luv:
-
It's perfect!
-
Fabulous! ;D ;D ;D She looks very happy there. :evillaugh:
-
Well, you know how Bonnie doesn't have a tail? She got on her chair and started running around in circles as though she was running after it  She grabbed hold of the blanket and threw that up in the air and jumped all over the chair. Happened too quick to get my camera.
Going to the supermarket soon and then to the hospital to see my mum so God knows what state the chair will be in when I get home - shredded to bits maybe? :evillaugh:
Mary
-
oh gosh she is so cute on her chair. Love it :)
(Callie and Monty advise me she was given that mission by the CATS Army- medal for Bonnie)
-
Ah so that's why she finally decided to use it ;)
Mary
-
She looks great on the chair ;D
-
So cute xx
-
O.M.G. she didn't come to bed last night  Cosy as a bug in a rug this morning in her chair when I came downstairs.
Mary
-
:wow: :wow: :evillaugh: She must feel like all of her birthdays have come at once..... :)
-
:Luv: :Luv: :Luv: ahhhh bless her so pleased she likes her chair. Now you know the rules Mary, don't show too much interest in her otherwise she will instantly stop sitting on it
-
I must stop allowing my dog to read the thread. My little chap is now demanding HIS own little chair, luckily his to big to fit one like that.
-
Afraid there's no chance of him fittting his bum in it, I don't know how kids fit in to be honest. Bonnie still uses my bed for stretching out ;) :Luv2:
Mary
-
Oh she looks just gorgeous in it :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
-
Aww, Mary, she just looks so uber cute! :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
:Luv: FAB! :Luv:
Love the way she chased her tail too!
