Maybe the new carpet is too soft for him to get a good grip with his claws, great he's gone back to his scratching post.

Bonnie has 2 which she uses BUT still has a go at the carpets now and again.  :rofl: :Luv2:

I dont know what plucking is  :rofl: :rofl: but it will smell strange and that may have made him decide that scratching posts are better  ;D
Yes I thought that with the carpet smelling different that was maybe why ?  i also thought he may has sprayed on it to mark it but he hasnt !! hes so good ! :Luv:

We had some new lounge carpet put down 2 weeks ago and since its been down Thomas doesnt pluck it anymore !! this is great but just wondering why ?  The carpet is a bit softer than the old one and I was sure that he would pluck it but so far he hasnt he just seems to be using the scratching post.  Im not complaining ! but just wondering why ???!! :)
