Of course they are only the small percent you hear about aren't it? I expect there are loads more. Sadly it is a story I and I am sure all rescues hear about almost on a daily basis.

Further to this posting on Catchat last week. In the last week or so we had 3 cats reported to us that were not neutered or chipped etc. All from different areas and homes.. In the last week one by one owners have come back to us and have given us an update.. Every one had been involved in RTA and died.. Pls, pls get your cat neutered and chipped... This time of year males go out finding unspayed females and sadly no matter how much they are loved becuase they remain un neutered, never make it back home again due to their wandering instinct...

A unspayed female remains still AWOL and i am just waiting for the call about the same fact to her as well...
