Title: As if Yahoo answers isn't bad enough.
Post by: J (Indoorcatsuk) on March 29, 2008, 12:46:45 PM
As a relatively new mum I do find it interesting to read some of the mumsy type forums, tho mostly I do not because I find it all a bit too, well you know, mumsy. I also find some of the parenting techniques absolutely infuriating, given I'm more of a Continuum Concept (http://www.continuum-concept.org/cc_defined.html) type mum, tho I don't follow some of the practices due to my childs medical conditions. ( Must say observing cat behaviour has given me insights ).

Anyhoo, I discovered one of the forums I look at occasionally has a pet subforum, oh joy I thought, maybe I'll see a few people like me.
Duh.
I've only been looking for a few minutes and already I've seen a few posts with ' I don't want to get rid of them but I'm at the end of my tether ' type posts and even a ' looking for a kitten '. Arghhh. Don't get me wrong, there are sensible replies and so on, but it made me sad.

:( Think I'll stick to Purrs.
