Ours has collapsed a few times but is wearing well and still very popular - it's funny to read how many others take toys inside too.

Thanks Susanne.  I'll be in there soon because I want some bookcases so I'll have a look.

Yes they are still available.  I noticed last time I was at ikea (about 10 days ago).  And still at the bargainous price of £4.99!  ;D

Which one did you go to Susanne?  Was it Ashton or Warrington?

It was the Warrington.  They had loads.

None in my local Ikea anymore but you can get them on eBay for about £9 including the postage - obviously extortion compared to the original price but Bertie would think it was worth every penny  :evillaugh:

Bertie spends half his life in his tent, and I really mean that!  Toys get taken inside, occasionally thrown out and hooked back in again, and are then sat on.  :evillaugh: Anything missing from the house can usually be found inside the tent.  I can't believe what a big hit it's been!

Mine houses a collection of favourite toys that are routinely taken inside, given a good beating and left to their own devices to recover. The regular annihiliation is no longer a feature of the household but they both still use it at least daily. Esther was, for a time. stockpiling autumn leaves in it to hide them from me because i had an annoying habit of throwing her collection out

Kylie's goes totally ignored now  :tired:

She always slept in it until the wood stove arrived. Now she has a dog bed in front of it, she hasn't been near the tent. I think I will put it away until the summer  :tired:

My lot have had their tent a few weeks (the kittens think it's fab!) and it's bent out of shape already, oops guess I'll have to go to Edinburgh to get several more soon!!

Much to my surprise due to the wear and tear it gets , it seems to be holding up fine!

Sasa uses it as a wopping place and beats the life out of it although she has only collapsed it once by getting a claw or paw stuck and pulling the bar down across the top. She scared herself and ran away , refusing to use it for at least a day  ;D

Misa has also dived on it with his great size and weight but its the mini claw sized puncture wounds that worry me the most

It is loved by all the cats but used by Sasa and Misa as a toy when we play catch the feather, I think its been the best purchase I ever made on the toy front.......mind you the da birdy will be out in the garden again when it gets drier

Mosi felt he needed a rest halfway through

Or maybe he just wanted a new style bed.

I have to say, I'm amazed this tent is still standing as Mosi puts it through it's paces daily.  It is looking a it wobby and worse for wear so I don't think it's life expectancy is too great.  How are everyone else's tents doing?
