I'm from New Malden! (though I now live in Stockport, Cheshire). My folks are still down there and we're visitng them this weekend.

Fearne's punishing us because we kept her upstairs yesterday when our cat allergic friend visted. She's been running round like a lunatic this morning and is now ignoring us.

Oh yeah, Leigh, you're a Kingston boy!  Small world, I was born in Kingston Hospital :shy:

If my boy starts flouncing around like Lawrence Llewlyn Bowen then I'll be having words with him

I know Kingston Hospital vert well, I was born in Hammersmith but have lived most of my life in the Kingston area and work in Kingston.

Watch out for Max wearing those lacy collared and cuffed shirts and growing his hair extra long :)

Cheers

Well it must have been a good noght last night. You shut yours out of bedroom and I shut birmans in bedroom for being naughty to Misa !

Found his fur at top of stairs and two guilty birmans after I had rushed out to see what all the shouting was about and met Misa rushing down stairs to hide.

I gave those boys a good talking to and the dark handsome one fluttered his blue eyes and said havent a clue whart you are saying cos you know I deaf! Th small evil one refused to look at me and I take that as a sign of complete gulit!!

Hi Leigh, 48, did you use a photo from a while back then ! You don't look 48,:

Hiya Catwhisperer,

I don't look 48 bacause I'm still 47 until next June :) :). The picture was taken last year on holiday in Italy, the last holiday that I had.

Hi Clare,

Sorry to hear that you were poorly last week, I wondered why I hadn't seen you posting. Yup,nothing subtle about cats :), I see that Max has been watching "Changing rooms" then :). I've got a nice blue vase, sort of turquoise that I'm waiting for one of the boys to knock down :). I see that we're, geographically speaking, near neighbours :).

Cheers

Leigh

Hi Leigh, 48, did you use a photo from a while back then ! You don't look 48, but then again wrestling with three cats all night probably keeps you fit & young :evillaugh:

Max was being a little  :censored: last week when I was off sick with tonsillitis - started off being all cutesy, then decided that if I was at home all day I should be playing with him, so several times a day he would knock all the dvds an videos over, knock all the books off the bottom of the bookshelf, dib all the cds onto the floor that he could reach from the stack, and then jump up onto the top shelf to make my nice yellow vase wobble precariously ..... little monster!  Thing is though I couldn't help myself but laugh, so I guess it cheered me up a bit lol!

The words 'cat' and 'subtle' will rarely, if ever, appear in the same sentence  :evillaugh:

Hi Clare,

The funny thing is that I've never put them out of the bedroom as I like them to be able to come and go as they wish despite the enormous lack of sleep with Suzie on me all night and Alfie and Frankie's constant coming and going. That's why I think that Alfie got the "hump" and didn't lick me this morning either :)

There's nothing subtle about him when expressing his scorn :)

Hugs to Max,

Cheers

Leigh

  I agree, putting kits out of bedrooms when they're clearly showing you how athletic they area is fully deservent of having clothes flung all over the floor I'm afraid Leigh  :)

Alfie's revenge
« Reply #1 on: November 29, 2006, 16:24:43 PM »
Hi all,

This morning it was like World War III in my bedroom. First Alfie jumped up onto the bed and chased Suzie across the room with her hissing at him loudly and then persisted to torment her whilst she lay in her safe place under the shelving unit. Then Frankie joined in by using a litter tray and digging loudly for ages after which Alfie started chasing him around the bedroom etc. until I put them both (Alfie and Frankie) out and closed the bedroom door for an hour until I got up at 7.

I got up, got their breakfasts etc. and on my way back to the bedroom to take Suzie her breakfast I noticed my clothes drying thing on the landing was devoid of clothes!. I usually leave them there to dry as it's by a radiator and have taken to leaving them there longer than usual because Frankie likes to sit under it. I did a double take and after confirming that several shirts, t.shirts and other items of clothing were "missing" I found them strewn all the way up and down the staircase looking like they'd just gone through a mangle. Although I cannot positively point the finger at Alfie  and not Frankie I suspect that he got the "hump" with me for being barred from the bedroom and decided to take revenge by distributing all my clean laundry up and down the stairs, the little  :censored:

Cheers

Leigh
