I accompanied a friend to the vets today with her lovely, gentle former farm cat, Shandy. He was one of a litter of kittens 19 years ago and she and her husband took him and his brother on after going to offer a home to one of the litter.

His brother Tizer passed away last year and since then, Shandy has followed his mum around every day. (His dad passed away a few years ago now.)

Shandy passed away quickly and peacefully with his mum holding him.

I hope, Shandy, that you found Tizer quickly and you're back to roughhousing with each other. I know you've missed him, lovely boy.

Carrie, Jack,Toby and Parsley ~ Love and miss you all always.x
