Thought I`d introduce you to our latest little rescue, found lying in the road with injured mouth/nose and cat flu, he`s one very brave little boy . Hes coming up to 5 weeks old and weight of 2-3 week old.

Did you name him after the feisty heroine of Alien?
Anyway, he's home now.

Ripley is the name of one of the finders beautiful 12 year old cats.

He's adorable and in the best care possible.
Give him some extra cuddles.

Little one no name yet is managing to eat well despite his injuries, hes going to meet the vet at 5.30 as I am concerned about the amount of flesh thats missing around his mouth, he`s been started on antibiotics and had his first dose of wormer as well as managing to do his first wee in the tray, I`ll never know for sure but I`m convinced he is a domestic dumping. He is the size of a hamster and has one huge character already.

Definitely top up cuddles for Little Amos. (Sorry, I have to give them names in my head!)

Little one is now officially called Ripley,he saw vet yesterday and although almost half of his top lip is missing it should be fine and wont show when fur grows,just a case of keeping wound clean. He weighs 300grams but is eating well so will hopefully soon catch up. He has the noisiest purr and is adorable.

he does have the look of a little purrpot about him.
It's so horrible to think what these little waifs go through that find their way into your hands Teresa - and those of all the other rescues too. When they're injured like this it destroys you to think of the fear and pain they must go through, and yet - as you say - a little food, and some decent care and attention, and he's purring and happy. He's a little sweetheart. Nom nom nom! ;D

Well the old boot here is keeping my lips nice and clean and it doesnt seem to be hurting me; as for the fattening up its more all over growth I need, think I look more like mighty mouse than a cat :rofl:

Junior Officer Ripley em I like zat an I luv aving an Unkle Paddyyyy just like Pedro did, the humans ave told me that Unkle Paddyyyy woz Peddys hero so I am honoured.
I feel Gud, ave enjoyed 2 hearty meals so far tuday and been cuddled by some ickle children fink they were called grandchildren, all zese cyber hugs are luverly too so I am a very happy boy.

Unkle Paddyyyyyyyyy Ayes ate all mez breakkyfast and I az climbed mez scratching post lots of times, I az even ad a game of footyball and a kiss from Miss Minimopsical so itz a gud day so far. Ripley is doing fine thanks Ruth, mouth great,gaining weight and becoming cheekier by the day.
Monica also doing fine, we released her this morning.

Naturally, he is big enough to have his vaccinations now and will get the grand order of the boot as soon as a wonderful home comes up; hes not on website as I just havent got time to put all the cats on,in fact many are homed without ever being featured.

I find myself wondering that about Samson too. The rescue said he doesn't like other cats but I think he just didn't like being cooped up in a pen with them. They didn't fight or anything, Samson was just grumpy.

Every now and then, a cat happens along who just - for some inexplicable reason - tugs at your heart strings. No whys or wherefores. Ripley is definitely one of those. The piccies where he's gamely and bravely tackling his climbing post are just so great - he's totally oblivious to the camera, and to any task at hand, other than getting up that scratching post. Gosh, I could just eat him up! :Luv:
A Ripley cam is a splendid idea, and I'm all for it! ;)

Well, good morning Junior Officer Ripley of the Scrumptious Tum, Posh Paws and all of the other wonderful accolades we heap upon your exuberant little soul!
Not long now until you go to your new meowmy's home to live. Am sure she will be getting everything just right, in readiness - blankie, toys, scratching post, gud fud - you name it, it'll be waiting. ;D Bet Mum T is getting in lots of extra cuddles though before you set off on your next adventure. Just wanted to add my cuddles, Paddy's Purrs and some Nom Nom Noms! Mummy C has promised us all lots more photies of you. Can hardly wait! ;D :hug: :hug:
