You cant chat on any other thread in here so this is the place.
Any chat on auction threads needs to be accompanied by a bid :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
-
Ok right you lovely folks .... I hope you are paying attention :evillaugh: This years action is gonna be fun, fast and frantic (if previous years are anything to go by).
I'm not going to give too much away but we have had some fab donations from lots of wonderful corporate sponsors and if there are any of you who are fans of Simon's Cat I suggest you get yourself over to the Auction on Nov 21st cuz you never know what you might find! :innocent:

The boys have been saving their pocket money and have bought some extra toys to put up for auction ;D
-
I will be having a :shify: peek when it starts :) xx
-
Jaffa and Mosi will no doubt be having a look and ordering me to bid on things for them ;D
-
For anyone who hasn't experienced a Purrs auction before, not only is lots of dosh raised for such needy causes but it's actually a lot of fun too.
Here's an example of an auction thread from last year: http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,29215.100.html
I still haven't forgiven Snarf ;)

:cheeky: ppffft! likely story! :larf:
Just also shows to Jo what a great job the night team did :innocent:
who's Jo? :innocent: :evillaugh:
-
Jo is aussie blackcat who is one of my little helpers in this years auction night team ;D but for her its about midday
She maybe the only one awake
-
ahhh that jo. The auction always seems to run very well i have to say, considering as well that all the work is done by volunteers, internationally as well its mind boggling! :star1:
i keep reading that as goes to show not shows to jo though :see:
-
Yes its all volunteers and this is the first time we have had international aid :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
Jo used to be here in UK but went home before last years auction. So it will be her first time helping and boy is it tiring :innocent:
We have loads all working behind the scenes to get each part organized cos the auction is so big now that just me and Tan cant cope by ourselves anymore.
I will do a role call at the end of the auction cos without all the help it would never get done. ;D
-
If items are being donated by commercial(ish) organisations, who do they e-mail to get the listing set up with their photo and brand on? Thank you please! Using the :tired: smilie cos it is 4am ...
-
Sam The Fussy one LOL
Please pm her or me for any other info ;D
I am gonna be out for a couple of hours started ummmmm soon :shify:

And then get out your piggy bank :donate2:
Then be ready for 1500 on Sunday :waiting: :waiting: :waiting: :waiting: :waiting:
Have fun all, spread out the tems over the two weeks and keep the bids coming in and most of all LETS MAKE LOADS OF DOSH FOR RON

-
Oh this will be fun as found some fun patterns for cats last night so will be making some of them up during the auction ready for when I want them to be in there.
Apart from one pattern I found which can be used for other purposes after how it could of been misinterpretted was pointed out to me by Gill I have spent the afternoon looking for alternative patterns for the auction so more cute cat toys will be appearing over the two weeks.
-
Ellen is so kind and am sure that her new ideas are going to be really great ;D
-
Have just printed some patterns off ready to get started but at the moment can not download a fish pattern but hopefully will get it in time to be able to do it and get it in the auction for you all.
Just begged a person to send me a copy of the fish pattern and now have it so going to get started soon :make difference:
-
That's brill Ellen hun Thanks sooo sooo much
:you go girl:
:make difference: for Ron and the needy cats in his care :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
-
Have just been to PO and have had to have a little change of plan with the food as to post it isn't worth it so a quick phonecall and I have sold the bags to a friend so will make a cash donation for this prize - lady is a Pensioner and has jsut had to buy new glasses so we have got £25.00 to start us off if Tannikins could advise how to give the money will donate it tomorrow ;D
-
Liz the best way is to send via the shop through Paypal but make sure you add a note that its for the auction.
If its coming from you cos she paid you then the better option would be to do this at end of auction using the info we give out then, cos less likely to be lost in a black hole cos most auction money will come in 24 hours after auction closes.
-
No probs will add in in to the Clan total ;D
-
It's nearly time, it's nearly time!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
-
Will be getting a controversial one out of the way first, but there are some really sweet ideas for the use of them. :catplay2:
At the minute am just taking the last of the pictures and uploading to my computer of the toys that I have already done for the auction with several in the making. This evening I will be putting an item on also besides.
-
Must go a photograph our things currently have Sweetie on my knee and she's not for moving
-
Its nearly time, time when the auction takes over Purrs for two weeks :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
35 mins to go before I open the doors :waiting: :waiting: :waiting:
-
OMG I better go get some lunch now ... I think today is gonna be a long day of listing! lol
-
From 1500 this will be the thread you post your bids on ;D ;D
http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/board,125.0.html
Not too long I hope Sam ;) ;)
-
I thought it was a seperate thread for each item not all in the same thread
-
Yes you are right LOL.......panic panic deleting deleting :evillaugh:
-
I thought it was a seperate thread for each item not all in the same thread
It is Ellen ... 1 thread for each item.

Hmmm which one do I put on next, decisions, decisions
Oh well off to do everyone's food including mine lol
-
Please note bidders and sellers and everyone, there must be no posting on item threads without a bid attached, this will be seen as bumping and will be removed............ :innocent:
All bumping will be done by the night staff to give all items a fair chance ;D
-
I'm keeping an eye on the different sponsors that scroll through when you change page and I have to say, hats off to those who were on the corporate pestering committee, it looks like we are going to have some great items this year.
I am still racking my brains for something I can auction, I have some ideas but my fabric box is looking a little sad so need to think a bit more creatively!
-
Gill you need to stop under bidding :evillaugh:
-
Am sorry for my underbids but must have speed issue cos posts taking too long to appear......good job it not the last day :shify: :shify:
-
Feline Customier have sent you a mail with suggestion as you only need a square of about 6inches x 6 inches maximum for them and of course some stuffing.
-
Can I just say I'm delighted to see PAH sponsoring the auction. :wow:
-
We have some really lovely sponsors this year and I am too Julie ;D
The aucyion is off with a bang and a splat you :naughty:
-
hehe, this is quite fun! :naughty:
-
I was thrilled to see all the different sponsors too, some big names like PAH and Simon's cat, some smaller companies as well as lots of lovely independent people on Etsy and stuff, you really did a great job! I'm trying to take some photos now of my first auction
-
So glad to see Vicky Halls new book here will have to pop over to her facebook group again soon.
-
Reference the sponsors, just incase you dont know, if you hover on the ads it will link you too their sites ;D
-
Have visited a couple of the sites by doing that Gill and bookmarked them on the browser to go back and have a better look and one had a bag shown but was out of stock so intend going back for that when it is due in again
-
;D ;D
-
Wheres the Mugs :shify:
-
I was wondering that lol
-
My goodness there are another 14 days to go
-
Hey I have just been reduced down to 2 cat mugs from 5 lol
-
I have McKenzie the forever foster feral Mug Breaker
-
At least I know mine was purely accident as they are normally so good but they were playing and one jumped and caught the pots on the draining board with a back paw and then it was a smashing time as the saying goes. At least non of the cats have cut themselves it was more a misjudgement of distance.
-
People are actually bidding on my little cat ;D And more than 2p too, that's it, that's made my auction this year :wow:
-
It is so cute though Feline Custumier.
-
It is lovely, I'm going to be putting some hand sewn kitty decorations up later on in the auction too, they're different to yours though :)
-
Here is my adorable Toesy whilst I am doing items for the Auction and whilst it is going on. In the sweet box behind him the red box is actually catnip
He is 12 years old now but came to me aged 4 months as a feral.
-
:wow: He is adorable :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: Is he up for auction? :catlove: :evillaugh:
-
People are actually bidding on my little cat ;D And more than 2p too, that's it, that's made my auction this year :wow:
LOL ... I love the little brocade kitty!
-
I may make another brocade one as it's my favourite too and the more popular items for people to bid on the better ;D
-
:wow: He is adorable :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: Is he up for auction? :catlove: :evillaugh:
Sorry Tan my felines would never be Auctioned he is my little baby beau and he is staying put sadly for you
-
Not nice Rosella telling me it is past my bedtime when I had just finished another item for the auction :nawty:
-
:evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
-
We may get the Clan items later but am off out for lunch with my neighbour and have lots of housework to do but we do have some items
-
Hehe sounds like my day but is shopping day
-
Well tomorrow me off to try and get some nice wool colours for more toys for the auction, at least food shopping is done and was over the moon when I saw Felix as good as it looks back on offer at Morrisons. Someone did ask about Rabbit Whiskas supermeat being available on its own and it is ;)
-
I need another magnet fridge shopping list thingy like the one I got last year, I've just used the last page :'(
-
What with asking if we have gone to bed yet Rosella :talking to me:
-
need a postage here http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,35360.0.html
-
If no postage is shown in the original post and there have been bids , then there is no postage.
-
I need another magnet fridge shopping list thingy like the one I got last year, I've just used the last page :'(
I think I listed that Dawn .... glad you have been using it! Sorry not got another one this year!
-
yes I did get it from you - off topic but where did you get it, I've come to need it!!
-
Been and got some wool for more nautical creatures that I have seen to do for the auction and more baubles :back topic:
See Tiggy's Mum - Helen is loosing on Da Whale cat toy
-
You have got to keep things secret Ellen cos this lot are waiting for hints to stop bidding on something and go elsewhere :shify: :shify:
We need to get highest bids on everything, so you sneakily slide a new one in and sit back and watch the fun ;D
-
Oh have a pile here of crochet patterns about 5mm thick of different animals and stuff I am going to try and make up for the auction that I have just printed off and it is all a mixed bunch of things lol.
-
All animals been fed including myself now off to do some crocheting of non nautical items
-
Gill tomorrow for my items promis OH on his way home his flight has been bumped due to the snow so will be busy sorry
-
no probs Liz.............hope OH ok
-
Sorry not posted before now but got a neck warmer half done must hasten for me then noticed there was a twist in it so had to undo the whole lot and start again. Thankfully this time it is fine but think I will need it for going out if the snow comes tomorrow.
Tomorrow am going to try and redesign a knit pattern to crochet for a cat toy     That should be interesting :lol2:
-
must admit to have totally lost track of what I've bid on! my post it note list just isn't working
-
Every morning when I look at my unread replies to my posts I nearly die! I seem to have bid on everything! I also have no idea what I'm winning etc so could have a few surprises come the end. Beans on toast for Christmas dinner? :evillaugh:
-
I know I am actually scared I'll end up giving Ron £2000
-

When I checked my emails this morning saying threads had been replied to, I had 25! I am not bidding on that many items surely!!!!
I didn't even think of writing things down on a post-it, that would probably have been a good idea, rather than my daily mooch and 'oh I'll bid on that' system...
I am supposed to be doing xmas dinner for my mum this year round mine, do you think they would mind beans on toast?
-
I sat there a couple of days ago and read and found what I was bidding on and wrote down p&p plus what I had bid so at least I have a rough idea.
Well have managed to translate the knitting pattern into a crochet pattern so sorry guys you will be getting the finished item soon in the auction
-
The only alternative to beans on toast I can make is cheese on toast , I am afraid
Or you could go through the 150 or so items and see what you have bid for and what if anything you are winning.......sigh
I remembber typing Feline at least twice last night and Dawn F a few times but I dont know how many Jo wrote LOL and there will be no list of bidders until the auction finishes........................so suggest you study all the replies to your posts very carefully and keep a record of what you bid on from now.......................I remember one feline bid that is definately a beans on toast bid lol and was £15 on the bed.
However I have only just got back so no clue what has happened today
-
I like the shock at the end
-
Thers is going to be a total update in a few minutes ;D ;D ;D
-
You will be pleased to know I went through all the items and wrote down (well copied and pasted) everything I am bidding on! (Instead of working on my uni presentation on Byzantine Thebes  ) So I am officially organised!!! woop! Thanks for all the hard work!!! :)

I went through mine too ;D I doubt I will again but it's shown me that it wasn't as bad as I had feared ;D
-
i quite like the sound of your assignment, can I do it??
-
of course you can, lol, there is not much information out there about Byzantine Thebes, so I am going to expand a bit and cover the power of silk!!! (I am not mad, but as a political tool, being in control of a very desirable commodity, of tightly controlling the import and export of the silk only to specific countries and the high quality silk itself was only really worn by very high up rulers and whatnot)
actually...I think I am mad, lol
-
if you can argue it it will work - good luck, I'd much rather be doing that than what I am doing!
-
did I dream there would be royal canin in the auction?
-
It would be good if there was, I like stocking up on food in the auction!
-
We got 2 bags of our rep but postage was horrendous from here so I auctioned it off to one of my ladies who has ferals - sorry
-
I'm going to have to break out last years spreadsheet at this rate  Just plop each item down, update each bid and voila you automatically have a total spend :)
-
no problem, just wanted a sanity check! have done a word doc so no a bit more in control although still not sure why I am buying a dog lead lol!
-
Pleased you ladies have got your control back but wondering if Feline has missed something :shify: :shify: :shify:
-
If you are referring to the bag of food I am already bidding on then I haven't missed anything :evillaugh: It's just handy if it's a food you usually feed ;)
-
No I wasnt LOL................are you still top bid on the bed?
-
Nope, think there are a couple of bids ahead of me now so I have bowed out :evillaugh:
-

-
Some of my items on - Gill sent you an email for the spreadsheet ;D
-
Yes just seen it Liz, thanks ;D
-
I think I've just gone a bit bidding crazy! There are so many great things in the auction this year.
-
Not seen a 'silly' item from you yet Tan :evillaugh: ;)
Mary

I would like to thank Jo for taking over the update last night and she did so well cos she lost her signal there in the Tassy outback
-
Well Tan, I guess the egg box is one step up from the loo roll :evillaugh: ;)
Can't believe I've bid on it
Mary

-
Well Tan, I guess the egg box is one step up from the loo roll :evillaugh: ;)
Can't believe I've bid on it
Mary
When I posted my cat ornaments I must admit I had you in mind Mary but it seems you prefer green egg boxes (green eggs? :yuk:).
:oh well: I guess there's no accounting for taste.
-
Carol you was right to think of me - I love your ornaments BUT I have similar ones so won't be bidding.
What's wrong with green egg boxes? :evillaugh:   Tan's got me as daft as her or maybe dafter
Mary
-
Bidding is getting fast and furious and some hotly contested items now have new items ;D
Reckon this is gonna be worse than a scrum on Monday
-
Am getting in some practice :white flag:
Oooops ........... :booboo:
I mean................:boxer:
-

-
Is there going to be a list of winners names and they items they have won ... as I have no idea what I've bid on! lol
-
Yes there will be lol....thats one of the purposes of the dreaded spread sheet :shify:
It will be posted up as soon as physically possible ;D
-
Question how will we know where to send the stuff and to whom?
-
Question how will we know where to send the stuff and to whom?
The winner of the auction will send you their name and address. When Tan and Gill have confirm the item has been paid for you can send the item out.
-
Am so glad Gill has the spreadsheet no idea of what I have bid on like a surprise and heart failure at the same time
-
What time does the auction end tomorrow please ?
-
2000 on the dot by the Purrs site clock.
Any bids 1 sec late or more will not count.
All info is in the auction section , including a new thread at top about how to pay, please read carefully.
There will also be a post on every thread saying what to do both for the auctioneer and winning bidder.
It will probably take all evening from 2000 to get all the information up so please be patient with us.
Good bidding tomorrow ;D
-
We are now moving into the final straight and less than 24 hours to get your winning bid in........I feel that so many are on their starting marks reeady to wipe the opposition off the board
Just want to wish everyone good luck with your bidding and hope you all get something and get your bid in no later than 2000 TODAY :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
Now what is on my list.................mutter mutter mutter :shify: :shify:
-
Please note that donations on the sticky threads at top will be open for the 24 hours after the auction closes ;D
And if you just want to make a donation, or as well as bid, then you do it with your winning bids or just as a donation, as in the How to Pay your Money thread stickied at the top of the auction ;D
-

I know they snatched one of the items I was bidding on with about 10 seconds to go (the blue collar)
I seem to have as usual spent far too much money but at least it's in a good cause - auction fever, gets me every year

-
Well I guess all there is left to say is.....................
Let's get looking for items to post for Purrs Auction 2011 :evillaugh: :naughty: :Luv2:
I've got 2 things already ;)
Mary
-
Really upset just gone to the shop and they don't have the cup in anymore that I wanted
-
I seem to have as usual spent far too much money but at least it's in a good cause - auction fever, gets me every year
Me too...
I've just done a rough calculation :scared:
Nobody tell my OH pls!
-
is there going to be a list of what each person owes in total for bids as can't remember all that I bid on
-
yes but late tonight
-
Every year I forget about the postage :-[ Definitely beans on toast for Christmas dinner!
-
Sorry
Beans on toast better for you :innocent:
-
I resorted to going to the shop to get mugs in the end lol
-
I couldn't get into Purrs just before the deadline, and haven't won anything :'( :'( :'(
-
So sorry but you can always make the P&P from jiggys as donation as I can collect at some point ;D
Think you donated in one of stickies at top?
-
I have spent my fun money allowance untill at least March 2011 but did get a Mug so thats ok
Fortunately OH left me money to get my hair done and is paying for my night out in Perth with the girls at the weekend their snow permitting they have what we got 10 days ago
-
is there going to be a list of what each person owes in total for bids as can't remember all that I bid on
I was going to ask that too. I bided on way too many items!
-
Yay i got my mat and my bookmark so I is happy!!!! ;D ;D
-
I think I may have outdone my record year of two years ago :-[ Keeping track of my won items and I'm out of control! Damn my trying to up bids, misguided tactics backfired :evillaugh:
On the plus side, the puds will be fed for a looooooooong time to come and will have an embarrassment of toys :evillaugh:
-
Shona if it's any consolation I've discovered you can add a credit card to paypal and pay by credit card so at least you'll get another payday in between now and when the bill is due ;)
-
We have finished posting on every thread who the winners are etc and later Tan will be posting up the totals for all the winners ;D
I just want to say thank yoiu to all for your bids and the fun and I am waiting with baited breathe to see what the interim total for Ron will be.
:thanks: :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:
-
Blimey, I should never do this after having wine!
(But I'm really chuffed at getting the kitty robot, and at least the Brighton moggies will benefit from it all.)
Roll on pay day!
-
Don't have a credit card Helen :evillaugh: So it's pay up now! Ah well, I don't need to eat anyway :evillaugh:
It's getting worse, by my notes I have won 11 items :-[
-
is there going to be a list of what each person owes in total for bids as can't remember all that I bid on
I was going to ask that too. I bided on way too many items!
Yes, Once we have done the total, Tan will be posting a list of who won what and what their individual totals are. That P&P can be a bit of a shock to the system - year before last I went well over my budget cos i forgot ... :-[
-
.......... I bidded on way too many items!
sooooo ...... if you are looking for someone to rehome the Signed Simon's Cat Slim Diary 2011 ...... :sneaky:
Come on; nothing says I can't ask :innocent:
-
I kept bidding cos I didn't think I'd win much.
I won 7 items in the end!
-
Damn my trying to up bids, misguided tactics backfired :evillaugh:
If you don't want the ear rings I'll be happy to relieve you of them - couldn't keep pace with all the items I was bidding on (but like you I did end up with something I didn't really expect :innocent:) ;D
-
I can just imagine all the PMs flying around atm with peeps begging for items they were outbid on :)
-
I lost track of what I won... don't think it was much though as I was quite reserved this year. :innocent: I know I got the purse during the dying seconds. :evillaugh: Think there might be a tea cosy as well. :evillaugh:
-
I can just imagine all the PMs flying around atm with peeps begging for items they were outbid on :)
......like the black cat pen you mean ;)
-
I didn't realise the auction ended today - I did check the beginning of this thread and it only mentioned a start date :'(
Only won one thing i think, and its not a fun present for the cats :(

Grubby mitts off, this is an item I was intentionally wanting to win! :evillaugh:
-
I was wrong - I managed to win one of the Salmon Mousses for Trigger
bet he turns his nose up at it :evillaugh:
-
Shona just sell your Elemis stuff on then it wont be beans on toast for the holidays :evillaugh:
Now i really liked their eye cream thingy... :sneaky:
-
Sorry Liz but it was posted and asked about over and over.................you will know for next year
-
Well have made a list of things that I entered and all are enveloped up awaiting addresses and confirmation and have PM'd the winner of the whale to ask them what colour and what eyes they want. Me being super efficient :lol2:
:merry xmas: :xmas cat:
-

Had a feeling you might say that
Actually feeling quite proud of myself - I only went £4.50 over my limit according to my calculations (mind you , didn't win everything I wanted)
-
My new job means i'm working longer hours and when I am on here I cant get focussed anymore.
Buying the car so if this job ends I can go elsewhere has taken up lots of my time too
ah well :(
-
Could I ask whether we can pay by bank to bank transfer - rather than send a cheque or pay by paypal (means no fees deducted by paypal and more monies to Lost cats brighton)?
Believe I know the details cos pay for Purrs Save a life Draw by s/o.
Thanks
-
what about pledges on the name a cat and feed a cat sticky threads, Gill?
just add the total amount to the amount on a bid, or is it better to wait until you have posted up the total required?
-
The transfer would suit me too Ed - I always have trouble with Paypal, it doesn't like me :(
-
I thought of just ringing my bank and requesting a transfer as per SO for raffle, but would Tan be able to sort out what the money was for if we did that?
-
Shona just sell your Elemis stuff on then it wont be beans on toast for the holidays :evillaugh:
Now i really liked their eye cream thingy... :sneaky:
Nooooooooooo. Been waiting to try Elemis forever and it's my only Christmas present this year (from anyone, not just to myself :evillaugh:) so the Elemis is staying with me.

If you have won more than item you MUST wait for your totals to be posted by Tan later before making your payment. Other add ons will be included in this (from the stickies at the top of the auction).
I hope this is right mods!? It was that way the last couple of years and also states this on the how to pay thread. :shy:
-
I thought of just ringing my bank and requesting a transfer as per SO for raffle, but would Tan be able to sort out what the money was for if we did that?
Yes it would be the reference that would need to be changed to "Auction and User name" i would imagine as the sort code/account number is the same.
-

I know Tan mentioned previously that bank transfer would be fine, I'll PM Gill to confirm plans haven't changed :shify: Gill has confirmed that bank transfer is OK, just need to include auction and Purrs name if bank will allow it as a reference. Please PM Tan to let her know you have sent X amount and what the bank account name it's coming from is :thanks:
-Bank transfer - Account XXXXXXXX sort code XXXXXX name Purrs in our hearts (can they send me pm to say they paid bank trf so i can keep an eye on the bank for it. Needs to be in the account before i will say it's paid. )

Nooooooooooo. Been waiting to try Elemis forever and it's my only Christmas present this year (from anyone, not just to myself :evillaugh:) so the Elemis is staying with me.
Mum spent a fortune on Elemis and although she highly rates it a tip from both my parents (my dad moisturises too :evillaugh: is one of the Boots branded face creams is as nice as elemis and a fraction of the price - i'll be heading there at christmas and will find out the exact type for you althought your Elemis should last for ages :)
-
It's much easier to wait for the total, guys, and everything you owe gets done for you. ;) I'm so grateful for that... if they had to wait for me we'd be here NEXT Christmas.
-
Yes Feline that was exactly right, thanks.
I think as long as a transfer had a reference, auction with your PUrrs name that would be no problem Edd and others ;D
Anything to keep paypals greedy paws off......I think Tan is also gonna try and arrange gift aid so maybe some more to add to the bids.
I will be posting up individual totals up BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT not sure if Tan has included the stickys but will try to work that oiut.
Just all be patient please and auctioneers PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY ITEM OUT UNTIL TAN OR ME POSTS UP MONEY RECEIVED.
It will be done asap but Tan is away tomorrow so first post of money received likely to be Wed. Then Thursday etc lol
I need to eat NOWWWWWWWWWWWWW lol
-
I forgot the end of the auction. I phoned my friend Tara around 7.30pm. I should have realised that I would be on the phone for ages. I just missed the end :'(
-
Thats what comes from having a life Mark.

Not tried Elemis. I used Clarins for years, but have been using Lidl (In the glass jar with the white lid) for a couple of years and it is the nearest thing to Clarins but only £1.99 ;D
-
Thanks Gill - I will send it by bank transfer then once I know the total you have (and someone is trying to do a deal with me!!).
So same bank details as Purrs draw Sort code xxxxxx Account no. xxxxxxxx Reference: Auction and User name - plus send a p/m to Tan to confirm bank transfer made.
Thanks again - enjoy your meal
-
Yers thats exactly it Edd, thanks ;D
-

No chance, but worth a try! I'm so thrilled to have got that one!
-
I have decided to call it a night and wait for a grand sit down total
Thanks to all the Mods and especially Gill who has had a lot going on with franta but has managed to maintain the high standards as she always does so well done Gill ;D
-
Thank you very much Liz, I so appreciate that ;D
Work still ongoing behinds the scenes!
-

List of winners and the totals owed by each person here ;D http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,35750.msg635942.html#msg635942
-
There will be no updates on payments coming in until some time on Wed, so no goods should be sent out until Tan or I says money received on the bidding threads.
Items won from Cybercats..............collars and bed will arrive in this country about 16 Dec for despatch to winners ;D
-
phoned my bank and asked for payment to be sent to same account as my Standing Order for raffle and no problem at all
no charge, and money will be there before the end of the day
-
Did you get them to change the reference?
-
yes - they have added the word Auction to the usual Trigger reference
-
brill, thanks
-
Not sure why I've ended up winning 4 of the personalised collars when I only have 2 cats  perhaps it's a hint that I need more cats
-

I wondered why you ended up with so many LOL
I reckon its cos you didnt take a note of the lot numbers and think you are lucky that you didnt end up with all 10 :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
-
Think you are right Gill, got confused somewhere along the line  never mind I'm sure I can find a use for the other 2, perhaps different colours so my 2 can have a change
-
The ones I have confirmation for on Wednesday night I will take with me to the doctors then post on the Thursday morning as long as I have the addresses.
-
Please no posting any item Ellen until money is confirmed in, on the threads

Would only post if confirmed by yourself or Tan rest assured but have some that are not answering mail for the addresses of where to send items.
-
There are always some who take longer than others LOL :shify: :shify:
-
You're right there Gill. I'm still waiting for one of the items I won last year to be delivered  (donor no longer on Purrs).
-
Oh Carol why didnt you tell us?
We cant do anything about cases like this unless we are told :(
It just shows how careful we need to be and its so sad when people abuse the trust in an event like this.
-
I do remember the unsent item, I think it's the one thread still unlocked in last years auction as it was chased up several times. I had wondered if it was ever resolved, obviously not!
-
Those that have sent me their addresses I am just awaiting confirmation from Tan that she has indeed received the payments. As soon as that is done if it is tonight it is on what you bid on then I will post in the morning or otherwise it will be the next time I am near the Post Office which will be the 20th December that they will be posted.

Hi Ellen,
I don't know what your personal circumstance are... but if at all possible, could you please post my two items as soon as you can. (I did pay in full by Paypal yesterday.) I only ask, because I plan to put them in a little stocking that I'm making up for Rosie, my mother-in-law's cat, and I would like her to get it in time for Christmas. :thanks:
-
Anyone know who Ben Beswick is? I have a paypal payment but don't know who it's from lol ie Purrs member?

-
Summary list of paid items so far on this thread - http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,35769.0.html
Will be posting on individual threads but this is if some want to get items out quick.
:thanks:
-

Jasmine they will be posted in the morning after I have been to the doctors as it has been confirmed on the spreadsheet that funds have been paid, all those that have given the addresses will be posted out tomorrow.
It is more a case of only going out if I have to and if I do doing everything together as being in Lincolnshire we have got the weather quite bad and got more SNOW last night and the previous lot still has not gone and have had no mail for over a week.
-
I dont think so but need his Purrs name lol...............so if anyone knows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I agree with Ellen, I remember some bids from someone who put in brackets that they worked fro Ron. There might've been 2 people??? I think one of the items was the Cat Car Sticker.
Mary
-
I seem to remember he was called David?
-
Yer, you're right Carol I just had a look. There was also someone who bid on sticker fro Rons and just put initials LCB - Maybe best to ask Ron.
Mary
-
David works for Ron and they are paying for the items at the moment so not him :shify:
-
To everyone that bid on items with me - will post ASAP. ;)
-
Those of you that have given the address for items GOOD NEWS items have now been posted and if you had more than one item if it has been possible have put them in the same Envelope. Royal Mail do not expect too much of a delay and all have been sent First Class.
Hope you all like them and your cats enjoy them.
-
Sorry for slight delay, not been on pc at home the last couple of days as spending time with my family.
On a day off work so have managed to make payment, post on all my threads and send all PMs - phew that was hard work - not helped by a certain Luna trying to help by sitting on my shoulder
-
Not sure why I've ended up winning 4 of the personalised collars when I only have 2 cats  perhaps it's a hint that I need more cats

Am in the process of doing a deal with gillian2u who had wanted 2 collars and only got one so I'm happy for her to pay for another one and then my donation can stay in the pot too so a couple more pounds for Ron ;D. Have explained all to Sam in my PM.
So I only need one more cat in 2011
-
  I love cats that sit on shoulders ;D
It took me over 4hours to post on paid peeps threads last night and only just over half way through.......sigh....waiting for Tan to come home before I start again........sigh
Only about another 300 posts to go assuming everyone pays , everyone sends, and everyone receives................otherwise it just goes up and up
-
Oh Gill - I can well believe that.   Its taken me ages just dealing the items I auctioned and the ones I won.
-
Just a quick note to say to all who won Clan Cat items I will be posting next week as I have an ice rink for a track and won't be taking my new car skating on it!
-
I have a new version of spreadssheet from Tan but too tired to look at it at moment and need to eat, so probably will be posting again much later tonight.
-
All received money upto this morning has been put on each thread now.
If anyone has not paid money please do so tomorrow so items can be sent out for Christmas and money sent to Ron
:thanks:
-
More items paid ;D :thanks:
All but 2 can be sent out now ;D ;D
-
All money is in now and just have to check out a minor detail and the final total will be announced to night :shify: :shify:
-
How exciting and how fab that everyone has paid up with no chasing hassles.
Fabbo Purrs members
-
Yes you are right and havent had to chase anyone ;D ;D ;D
Now of course is the postie problems.......sigh
-
I need an address for Le Chat Noir so I can post her mug ;D
-
If you can't wait for her to get in touch Liz I have her address because she won a mug from me as well
-
I need an address for Le Chat Noir so I can post her mug ;D
Sent you her address Liz ;)
-
My absolute favourite win. Don't have a tree but... :wow:
-
LOL it looks good but how long will it last just hanging there :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
-
Hi Just to let ya know i packed and sending out morrow
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
-
I would just like it to be known that I am more than a little miffed that my local sorting office seem to be mostly incapable of getting anything more than letters delivered and yet Liz, who apparently lives somewhere in the arctic circle these days, has had loads of her auction items turn up already!
More than a little grumped and aggrieved by this :P
-
It will be again tomorrow sue to the snow we currently have only 6 inches deep in places
I had 4 more things arrive to day Shona
-
Shona, listen to this............ I sent my pressies to Italy at the same time as Purrs stuff and they got the parcel 2 days ago. My last Purrs item was just received today by Rosella ;)
Mary

Mary
:P to you both. I have actually had two cards of a parcel each through my door, one yesterday and one today. Yesterdays will be delivered to my lovely neighbour tomorrow and todays I will attempt for redelivery Saturday, we'll see what the weather does. As for the rest, who knows now we've got more bad weather due over the next few days!
-
It's ok Shona I'm still waiting for most of mine that I know have been sent and I don't have any snow here any more  my post is rubbish at the best of times :'(
The one thing I have received Helen posted first class on 9th and I got it on 14th >:( there may be some more tonight when I get home as my postie comes quite late.
-
Just to say if folks have sent me anything else due to the weather not sure when we will be getting anymore post due to snow and ice and south of the border stopping delivering stuff due to their little snow
-
Very droll Liz,they're wusses down here aren't they? :evillaugh:
-
Just a quick update from me, I have one parcel to collect from the sorting office which I think is the stuff from Sam, am trying to wait for the other big parcel (Tan's stuff) so I don't have to go twice. Still waiting for the things from Tan which I know have been posted and the one from Shona which has also been posted. Don't know what's going on with the post where I am, can only assume it's because of the backlog from a couple of weeks ago when we had the really heavy snow. It does appear they could learn some lessons from Liz's posties tho
The pink sherpa collar is stuck in customs and the teddy from Lost Cats hasn't been sent yet I don't think.
Think that's all my items accounted for ;D
-
Note to mods.
When logged out, the box at the top right still says 'Auction now on'
-
It says it when you are logged on too lol
I dont know if I can change it in this new software but will have a look.
-
I can't see them when logged in but maybe because I have signatures disabled?
ETA - I just checked and when logged in, the news box disappears :-: - I'm sure it was there before.
-
I can see the box when logged in or out, not that I'm ever logged out :evillaugh: I note that it has now been edited to say the auction has finished though :innocent:
-
The news box is there all the time and signatures have nothing to do with it...........I have changed the words to say Finished
-
Well I can't see it when I'm logged in :see:
