Title: Lucy's taking advantage
Post by: Desley (booktigger) on May 10, 2007, 07:48:19 AM
Of me being a bit distracted, and not thinking of checking Shabba's food when I open his door to let him out - she has never shown an interest in the bathroom, but have found her asleep in there a couple of times this week, and the food magically gone, so I suspect it is her rather than him, so need to be on my guard with her, she will nwever lose weight at this rate. Daft part is I remembered with Sally as I knew she liked the cat room, but forget the bathroom!!

Definitely, so she has had her supper biscuits stopped to accomodate pinching his, and I shall be on my guard from tonight - I did trick her last night, I emptied his biscuit bowl back into the tin and then left it - she went running up to it, so I am right, she is hte one eating it, not him. The other downside to that is he is a very slim cat, and I would actually like to see a small amount of weight on him, but not much chance if Lucy is eating it!!

Des if that got her to run you need to start making traps up with bits of food then move them around the house LOL

Bless her though she probably thinks that she is eing starved !

Thats a good idea. Have you thought of throwing biscuits for her to chase and eat? I know it sounds a bit crazy but might be a way of getting her moving for a little reward.

She sounds very clever though  :evillaugh:

Nah, they're not all sneaky!!
Tab - we do that when she is allowed biscuits, she isn't havig any this week to accomodate for eating someone elses food, and I am on guard more now, so hopefully just a couple of days of sneaking.
Lise - making traps is tricky with the others. She isn't playing as much at the moment with the cage being up, but is spending time in the bathroom, so have been trying to get her to play when she is in there instead - if that doesn't work, I shall see if I can put Kizzy in there to give them the front room back.
