Title: Vibes needed
Post by: Sootyca on July 08, 2015, 18:15:13 PM
Can I ask for some "poo vibes" for Sky?  :evillaugh:

Just realised earlier today I don't remember cleaning the litter tray out for at least 48 hours - possibly longer.

She's booked in for some, erm, "assistance" tomorrow if she needs it but normally Purrs Poo Vibes help the job along.  If she poos there is no vet trip - I've told her that but I don't think she was listening!

I am very excited every time she heads in the direction of the litter tray....I can't believe that this is what my life has become

Still no poo.   :(

Maybe if you get the cat carrier out it might remind Sky of what will happen if she doesn't poo. Maybe if she will let you, gentle massaging of the tummy might help. Failing that, make loud noise, and scare the s**t out of her. And if all else fails, poo vibes being sent.
Julie.

Never been so happy to hear the paws in the litter tray and the inevitable aroma.

But no vets for Sky :) Let's hope she keeps a bit more regular now!

See, I knew the PPV would work!

No, not at all.  Teresa always used to rely on the power of Purrs Poo vibes in the past, as have many of us.

Well done Zoonie for showing the way to all those cats with poo problems. I think he should be the official purrs poo vibes poster for those in need.
Julie.

Try saying that quickly!

Andrew that's a pic of the boys that we don't need to see  ;) :evillaugh:

As for Sky, with Bonnie having no tail it was sometimes difficult for her to push her poo out and the vet told me to get some evening primrose oil capsules from the pound shop.  I just had to cut the capsule and empty it in to her food and it worked wonders.

Okay, need the Poo Vibes again - she's gone 5 days now.  I took her to the vet this morning and he said he couldn't feel any compaction or signs of constipation.  She has had an injection and has some lactulose to take.

Her food intake has dropped which could have slowed her down a bit - but I would have expected something to have happened by now.  I've also had to take her off biscuits which seemed to be given her a bit of an upset stomach.  I have tried to persuade her to eat some biscuits to get things going but no joy!

Unless I've missed it and thought it was Robbie - but they are both very distinctive aroma wise and Sky never covers up so would be very surprised if I did get it wrong!

The things we do and know!!!

SEnding loads of good vibes but if she is not eating very much that will slow things down a lot and if the vet cant feel anything, nothing there in my thought!

Another way which is an old rememdy and my birmans loved it  is a teaspoon of condensed milk mixed with warm water to make a drink..............Ducha liked it so much once he had tasted it he used to ask for it LOL

But it worked after an op

Well she has been but there wasn't very much.

That was my thought Gill - that if he can't find anything then there isn't anything there.  5 days though still seems a long time!

Hopefully things will keep moving now. *crosses fingers*

Sounds like things are shifting but will only improve if she eats well.

Guess who needs more poo vibes?

That's right, Sky hasn't been to the loo for about 3 days now.....she's eating fine and doesn't seem to be in discomfort but just no poo......

:)

Just a thought, with the vet saying he couldn't feel anything wrong with Sky, is she pooing somewhere else?
