I actually think my vet told me you should wait three months between Drontal treatments

The monthly advice has been out for a while now and was discussed on here a few weeks ago. I asked my vet and although they don't now use  Drontal confirmed that the new thought was monthly.

Ickle it would be better to use the kitten stronghold next time as at ten weeks she wont be much over a kilo. Kitten is for cats upto 2.5kg i think. :-:

Stronghold covers roundworm. It comes in 2 sizes so I hope you have only given kitten the kitten size one, or one third of an adult one. I would leave worm treatment for a week at least.

I would have a chat with your vet, as STronghold covers one of the kind of worms - can it be used on such young kittens?

If the wormer is a tablet and they have not had one recently yes they can have it but if its a spot on , noooooo you cant use it at the same time as a spot on flea treatment.

I take it its a wormer from a vet?

I would wait until toomorrow and then ask the vet for the wormer.

advice please, my cats have the F word, only discovered tonight aprox 20 mins ago.

Luckily I had some Stronghold flea stuff from the vets so each of them have been treated ASAP, however, I seem to remember being told that I must worm them aswell.

my question is do I have to wait a few days or can I apply the wormer immediately? I am worried that I will over load their systems especially as one is only a 10 week old baby and/or will make them ill.

please can you advise me
