Theres so many types, do your cats have preference for chunks or pates or dont they mind  :evillaugh:

Have you tried Applaws wet food? its one of the foods recommended on Dr Addie's site about stomatitis http://www.dr-addie.com/stomatitis.html . Classic Cat is also recommended - though not such a high meat quality food oddly enough.  Holistic vet Richard Allport recommends Co-enzyme Q10 supplements for gum/mouth problems - you can get veterinary versions, so might be worth asking your vet about it, although you can buy Co-q10 at any health food shop, chemist etc.

for dry food I use royal canin - I think its good quality (others may disagree, food is an area that always causes much debate!!) I think wellbeloved is good but my cats don't agree and it is often on offer at pets at home, I believe pets at home own brand dry is also good quality but again my cats won't eat it - my cats are currently liking the pets at home purely wet food which is 50% meat which is pretty good against some brands - I'm not one of the foodies on here - some people are very clued up and I'm sure they will be along soon to give you some advice

Hi Dawn,

Well I have one cat who adores dry and one who adores wet!  Really, these cats can be so demanding.  My cat Louis suffers from Stomatitis so I am looking for something to boost his immune system.  They are pretty fussy too and one minute love what I give them and next won't touch it at all.

Does anyone know where I can get advice on what food and/or supplements are good for my cats? I asked my vets and he just tried to flog me the stuff in the surgery. I really want to make sure my cats are getting the best nutrition. Thanks.
