Good luck in getting rid of them - as Ela says, bathing wont do a lot, you will have to treat mum and the house, but you could try combing with a flea comb and dipping it into very hot soapy water to kill them until you can get something from the vet - just make sure the comb is completely dry before putting it back through their fur.

Bathing will not solve the flea problem.

hi all just brought johnsons veterinary kitten easy worm syrup

To be honest with you, it is not affective enough you need the Panacur given to small kittens over a period of 3 days and the frontline spray. Although the vet  will need to see the kittens before you can have the frontline spray as it is still a POM. At our vets you do not have to pay for a flea/worm check. However, if you have already used the Johnsons I would have a word with the vet as to when you can give the Panacur

I would also suggest you get some household spray e.g., Staykill or Acclaim, once again the stuff available from shops and supermarkets is not effective enough.
