Title: Cat Run Pannels - Can anyone use some
Post by: sheryl on September 04, 2007, 14:12:58 PM
Hi, my neighbour who died recently (we are looking after Flash and Blackie whilst "lady friend" sorts herself) has got loads of what I would call run panels in his back garden there is even a big roof and "lady friend" has said that we can take then if we want or they are going on a skip - i though maybe one of te rescues could use them to build a cat run.

They would need to be colleted from nr Grantham Lincs and some of the panels are large.  If anyone can use them I will get OH to move them into our garden so they dont get trown out

Could really have made good use of them, pity you are over 400 miles away.

It would be such a shame to see them go to waste

May be best to phone all the rescues in your area, they would be useful for rabbits & birds aswell  ;D

If no rescue wants them then I'd love them - but I must make it clear it's for 'personal use' for my own cats, so I'd rather a rescue took them if anyone can make use.

I'd be happy to help with transport from Lincs back up towards Manchester anywhere, assuming they fit in my Micra.

They might be a bit big for a Micra, I would say that the biggest ones are probably 6".
Personal use is fine, just seems a shame to let them end up on a skip

Could you not get a roof rack and keep off the motorway's? Sounds a very good offer  :wow: ;)

Oh and take someone with you to fix em to it  ;)

Ooo... roof rack... there's a thought.

are roof racks expensive? Are they the sort of thing you can borrow from people?  :shify:

You can hire them from some firms

Depending where you are - you can hire a van for half a day quite cheap

I drive with hand controls, alas... but I'll look into hiring, cheers Ela.

I'm sure you can hire a "Man with a Van" ... now there's an offer not to be sniffed at!   I wouldn't recommend a roof rack ... they are big panels and would be quite heavy and cumbersome.  These links might help (I did a search on man with a van manchester)
