Thanks for the reassurance  -  the OP has been postponed until Tues next week and at least then OH if off work so he can do the "dirty deed" of taking Raffiki to the vets, then he can be the bad Daddy

I remember when Jet had to go into hospital for 2 days for xrays, scans and the works.  I don't know who missed him more me or Cleo!  It was horrible, she kept looking behind her wherever she went to see if he was following her.  When he got home though she was like a mother hen licking him clean and letting him eat his own food instead of stealing it!!!!!!!!!!

Goodluck for Friday as Helen said it is a relatively simple op

I was worried about the exact same thing with the boys, when Riley had to be seen for his panting at around 4 months old I took them both for the initial appointment as I was so worried how 1) Riley would cope alone at the vets and 2) How Lukey would feel home alone abandoned by his Mum and brother  :(

I had to take Riley back for the ultrasound on his own and they were both absolutely fine, I really was worrying about nothing.  Was home for a bit with Lu but he was completely fine about it, a bit more meowy than normal but certainly not upset by his brothers absence at all and they really do love each other  :Luv:  Was also worried that Riley would smell of the vets and that Lukey would reject him but needn't have worried about that either.

I'm sure they'll be absolutely fine, it's only for half a day and the neutering is a simple op with very few risks  :)

Raffiki is booked in to be neutered on Friday and Im really worried for my little man, my other concern is that him and Mellika have never been apart since they were 7 weeks old and I
cant get the day off work although OH is only working until lunh time.  Im really concerned how they will cope with being apart.
