This is Sammy. Sadly at the moment we dont have any room to take him in.. He is being cared for by neighbours and friends as his owner went into care and the son of the owner is trying to rehome him. He is thought to be around 14yrs old, in good condition and up to date with vac (although i need to confirm this) a lap cat but enjoys outside access. Not used to other cats or dogs. Always been a healthy puss but obv i need to check with vet records. The Son does not live local so communication is being done by email and phone..
We are struggling to find a placement for him and due to his age some rescues will not be so willing to take him in..I am talking to the Son tonight to see what can be done, but after Friday i am not sure of Sammys plight.
He does look rather handsome...
He is in Hoath, Kent which is around 10 miles outisde of Canterbury, Kent
If anyone can offer assistance pls PM me or get in touch.

What a gorgeous boy - I do hope a home (forever or foster) is found for him soon.

Is there any more news on Sammy ?

i rang up about Sammy and the man (who was really nice) is going to get Sammy into a cattery and see if he can find a place for him mum that allows cats to stay with her when she comes out of hospital. She will be around 1month or so and will need to go into care after.. But the thought of giving him up upset her much he decided one month in a cattery for Sammy may mean that he can come back to his mum in time.
I left him with our contact details and teh Cinnommon Trust encase this doesnt happen... he was a really nice bloke

I so hope that the lady can be found somewhere that allows cats cos I think that its so important for someone not to lose their best friend and the affect on her health will be so much better.
