I am sure that you will get bids on both but remember the cost of sending the mags will be quite high and the auctioneer pays the postage, actually we have been sneakie in the past cos auctioneer pays postage but so does the buyer  and this gets us extra money for the rescue  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

You will need to find out cost of postage before the auction starts..................ooooooooooooooo this sounds good and peeps are getting interested now  ;D

Oh, exciting! I am sure we can beat last year's amount.  ;D

Hm, don't really have any unwanted goods to give away, so have to come up with something else. I am thinking a custom-made little tote bag with a picture of the winner's cat on it... Hm, I'd have to make one with Poppy or Monkey on it to show what it would look like... because I obviously couldn't make the actual bag until I knew who'd won and they'd sent me a picture...

Is that too complicated?

Gwen, he tells me he was reading The Partner by John Grisham. He's not that good making cuppas but does do really good coffee!  ;D

It's the fact I caught him reading under an umbrella in the rain that cracked me up.

He's basically a softee who cries at Operas and old films :Luv: But he also padlocks the cheesecake and makes me beg for the key, and that's why I want to donate him.  >:( :evillaugh: Perhaps I could offer him as 'collection only'?  :sneaky:

I am sure that kind of thing is grounds for divorce, nothing comes inbetween a woman and her puddings :evillaugh:

Jaffa hasn't got over missing out on them catnip bubbles yet  ;)

There may be a pleasant surprise for Jaffa this year, then, but my lips must remain sealed for now  :innocent:

I read the original version too  :innocent:

It was great fun last year with all the tactical bidding and I am already honing my skills for this year.  I do so hope there will be at least one item for Susanne and me to fight about  :sneaky:

They would be better off auctioned separately unless they were obviously a set.

I did buy a set of 3 cat dishes last year.....................at the last second  :-[

One of probs of say job lots is that if all items are all different, peeps may want one but not all.

At the end of the day its up to you, the owner to decide how to auction them but suspect they might make more money separately, but of course I could be so wrong  Auctions are so totally unpredictable and ours certainly follows the pattern!

Maybe nearer auction time you could send me a picture of them and I will give you my best but not necessarily right advice  ;D

From the other thread....

Just wanted to add that we raised £1656.50 last year  :wow:  Would be fantastic to achieve that again this year or preferably even more  :wow:

The boys have, very kindly, been ignoring lots of exciting toys so have said they would like to donate them to the Purrs Xmas auction - such kind generous souls that they are  :)
