Isnt it sad that she is terrified of being hungry again, no cat should have to have that fear  :(

That would be good Teresa. It was only a little joke - She landed on her paws getting you to look after her  ;D

Shame on you Mark, the beautiful Wisp is a tabby.

Wisp is going from strength to strength ,her weight has certainly increased, her backbone is still prominant but she just looks skinny now rather than emaciated. She is really enjoying attention now but still strikes out if I steal her empty food bowl, bless her she`s terrified of going hungry again. Will try to get some pics in next few days.

Inside this frightened little kipper is a pleasantly plump loving girl waiting for the opportunity to emerge
and believe me she will.

Oh yes, she will   :Luv:

Thanks everyone.
The way to Wisp`s heart is definately through her stomach providing your fingers are safely out of reach. She is eating a massive 5 satchets a day as well as dry food and growls her way through every mouthful.
She still gets distressed if you try to handle her , yet she offers gentle headbutts after she has eaten.

Poor Wisp has obviously been out for a long time and been a lousy hunter.
At least her future looks brighter now.

Poor little thing, thank goodness she has come to you.

Took in a poor stray at the weekend who apart from being a bag of bones  was very distressed, I was convinced that this was an old cat with a thyroid problem.
How wrong could I be just returned from the vets and the poor girl is 2-3 years at most and skeletal, vet says she is suffering from severe malnutrition. Poor Wisp has obviously been out for a long time and been a lousy hunter.
At least her future looks brighter now.
