Hi there :) I am Claire. First time for me with a kitten. His name is Elvis and he is 9 weeks old... he is just a standard moggie.

We used to have a brittish long haired female called Anna. We found her in a cat shelter 10 years ago and fell in love with her so we took her home. She was 5 at the time. She passed away a year and a half ago from renal failure :(

We waited until the time was right until we introduced another furry family member into the household...and so Elvis came to us :) He was an unwanted kitten in a litter of 5, he was the runt and so no one wanted him... but I fell in love with him when I saw him.

After Christmas we will be looking into gettin him a play pal, more than likely from the cats protection league up here in Dundee, or the Perth one. We hope to get him a friend in Feb time as he is due to be neutered in Feb.

Hes a little camera shy and so getting a good picture of him is hard. But here is one of him.

Glad you've found us, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.  It really is a very friendly forum with lots of friendly helpful advice, if ever needed, and of course lots of fun.

Hiya Claire - welcome to Purrs  :welcome:   And helllllloooooo Elvis!!  ;D   What a little cutie he is - he's adorable.   Very photogenic.    Hope you enjoy the forum and have fun exploring.  There's even a piece for the kitties to contribute - and they frequently do!  :evillaugh:
