but he smells horrible. It's a combination of vet smell, urine and food  Now I smell like him and it's just nasty.

My Ben smelt of urine when he came home from the vets too after he'd had his blockage and had to have a catheter inserted, but that soon wore off.

Glad he's home, happy and eating.

He's just settled down and fallen asleep. Think he's extremely greatful to be home and his purr is back  :wow: but he smells horrible. It's a combination of vet smell, urine and food  Now I smell like him and it's just nasty.

Good news he's eaten half a tin of s/d and he's had about 4 or 5 wees since being home, plus a drink  :wow:

:evillaugh: Liz I LOVE the names Boston and Dallas!! Also eeeek on those vet bills

I'd like to say thank you so much to everyone .. your support has meant SO much and I'm ever so greatful

Boston and Dallas are so glad Memphis is home - they are the Clan Cats American theme!

Can sympathise on the vets bills September and October were in excess of 1500 for our lot what with Gem and Harvey, Beijing and the others folks now can see why we don't have holidays!!!!

:yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy:  So glad the little fella has done a wee and earned the right to go home!  ;D

btw - I asked for curiosty sake what his bill so far and lets just say

I have no trouble believing that.  My vets costed out an estimate for me for Jaffa last week based on the highest amount (eg if it took a long time to get a catheter in, 3 days stay..) and it was about £750.  Think that was exc vat too

His bill is going to end up over £600 .... thank you insurance  :Luv:

He's home now .. thank you Alison

He's having a very big wash. Memphis is acting quite spooked which of course is understandable just hard to watch  :'( He is sooooooooooooooooo skinny though. He feels like skin and bones  :'( I opened a tin of his new food - s/d- and he devoured it.

Memphis has another appointment for next friday to see how he's doing.

Going to cuddle him now and when he's settled I might take a pictures of 10  :sneaky:

Your meowmy wants you home and I wants to see you paying wiht your fethery stiky thing! :wow:

He is still incredibly obsessed with that  :evillaugh: He will carry it everywhere with him, upstairs, downstairs on a chair. Snuggle up with it, suck it, wrestle, play fetch!!!!! Incidently Molly was asleep on one of the chairs the other day. He brought over his mousey to her, gently placed it next to her then sat on the floor staring up at her with those eyes waiting for her to throw it for him   Then when she didn't he gently pushed it closer to her then resumed his sitting position!

Ahhh I miss the little guy so much! I had gotten used to having a cat around the house and now it feels SO empty and weird without him. It feels like I'm missing part of me  :-: and I do feel very lost .. it's a really weird feeling indeed.

Come on Memphis, you can do it, nobody is watching really  ;D ;D

One of probs at vets is that they tend not to use their tray at all if they can avoid it.

Look at it this way Memphis, the army needs you and also its Purrs 2nd birthday tomorrow and how can your meowmy join in da fun if youz dont do your bit

Just had a call from the vets ...

We need the collective thoughts from purrs for some wee vibes! He's had his catheter removed but they are keeping him until he has a wee. I'm going to get a phonecall around 3/4pm telling me if he can come home.

So come on little boy have a wee!!
