Yep it worked in the end, i tried posting and it let me so i didnt need an email code

I didnt want another account as it would niggle me i couldnt use the other one

When we moved to Purrs i changed my settings so i could read things in a normal way, iv now got to get used to reading the wrong way again

MM have you had any luck ? Worst comes to worst you could just re register i suppose will all new details.

Its been taking abit of getting used to clicking back on a catchat logo in me favorites again but fab to have it back.

Still cant log in

I follow Beaus instructions and get to a page that says
Your account has been located. Please choose a new password for your account here. Once you have chosen a new password, an e-mail verification message will be sent to your address on file. You must follow the instructions in that e-mail verification in order to activate your new password.

I put in new password, click continue
Your request to establish a new password has been processed. An e-mail verification message has been sent to the e-mail address you specified. That e-mail verification will contain an "Activation Key" that will allow you to begin using your new password. For your convenience, when you receive this activation key, you may enter it here to complete the password recovery procedure.

But i never get an activation key, can anyone help?
I do check my junk folder but its not there either.

Hullo!

Just nipping in here to answer a few queries on the old CC forum front, here goes:

If you are registering for the first time, the activation email comes straight away, but some system's security puts it in the junk folder, so have a check in there. Or maybe you clicked already and activated it without realising, so just try posting a message!
For those of you who had an account on the old forum...
If you can't remember your old username, I may be able to find it using your email address, so drop me a mail: beau.cat@catchat.org
If you know your username but can't remember your password here's what to do:
Click on: 'User List'
Enter your Username
Click on: "Click Here to Restore Access"
Enter your Username
Click "Continue" and follow the instructions to change your password.

And finally - THE DIARIES - this is a great mystery, but some systems apparently weren't able to click the diaries link yesterday (possibly even the day before too), it's very curious and we still don't know why (human error no doubt!), but it all appears to be tickety boo today. My technical adviser says you may need to click 'refresh' on your browser, but the diary should now be visible to all - mind you, the Lady Gemini's last entry was completely un called for and un-authorised. Perfectly true of course, but totally un-authorised!

If you go to the CatChat forum and then click 'log out' in the top RIGHT, you will get a screen which invites you to log in. That gives you the option of putting in your user name and resetting your password. I think.

Edited because I couldn't tell my right from my left earlier

Gawd - feel such a woosie - bin reading this and bin close to tears. Love Cat Chat - it's where it all started for me - lurkin, then postin, and have kept logging in to Cat Chat 'cos it's grrrreat !

BUT - love what Tan and Chap Tan have done with Purrs. Think of you all as my mates, and my big extended family. Would I have to divide my loyalties? Thank God, no! Phew.

I can tell you Tan is working very hard behind the scenes and I will be too and I think also another volunteer too

I dont know when the shop will be up but its nearly ready with lots of kitty things to buy, actually I am shocked how many kirtty things there will be
