kitty update

they have had access to downstairs for the last two weeks, they have been coming down and relaxing down here, they all seem chilled now, piggy and marmalade are asleep on the sofa and porridge is asleep in the cat bed! :D

I presume they've been upstairs since they arrived? I think I'd let them have access to upstairs again for a little while at least, if this is the first time they've explored downstairs. Don't forget, this is all new to them and upstairs has been their 'safe haven' and they will still see it as such.

There is nothing you can do then I  think but the fact they have been upstairs and now you are stopping them is upsetting them.

well today all 3 cats are now down stairs, they ave all been walkin about gettin a feel for down stairs, however, they just sit at the hall door meowing to go back upstairs, but they have to learn that downstairs is goin to be there home not upstairs! what shall i do? i feel mean coz they just wanna go bk up stairs but i need them to get used to being down here! they are all currently chilling, two on sofa and one sat by hall door! my two are yet to come in from outside but they all seem to get on ok when they have met. any advice would be great x
