This really hurts, but ya know what? I got plenty of books, and it's for great cause. ;)

Pristine, first edition hardback, perfect, unread, in unmarked dustjacket with Author's open inscription "Sweet Dreams from Neil Gaiman" in green ink on flyleaf.

This was hard fought over last year, remember ladies?  :duel:

I heaved a sigh of relief when it finally arrived, wrapped it lovingly in a plastic pocket and put it carefully away for a rainy day. Then I went out and bought the paperback version so I could actually read the contents!   It's a very good read - Gaiman at his finest.

Just quickly browsing for it's current value on-line, as a perfect, unread, unmarked first edition open signature with dustjacket, this is between $140 and $200 (£85 to 170)

EDIT -hang on double check maths - £85 to £125 that's better!

http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=8206594108&searchurl=an%3Dgaiman%26bi%3Dh%26fe%3Don%26lid%3D41000000024536323%252F%26ph%3D2%26pubid%3D21000000000249624%252F%26sgnd%3Don%26tn%3Dm%26x%3D53%26y%3D8

OK, so, obviously I'm putting a reserve on this as there is already International Interest  :wow:

I'm also throwing in something you can actually read on Christmas Day without losing value - a slightly foxed but no less wonderful hardback copy of ...

Tom Cox's "Under the Paw - Confessions of a Cat man"

which is neither perfect nor signed, but a jolly good read nontheless. Slightly tearstained  :shy:

For the pair, reserve is set at just £15

ALRIGHT - I'll even throw in the paperback version of M is for Magic! Now you can't say fairer than that!

Postage free (can't be bothered working it out) unless you're overseas in which case you'll need to add a Fiver, please, as this needs to be shipped with care.
